Hey guys so anyway here's a Jaden Yuki x Reader requested by @JadeDragonThe1st .I hope you guys like the one-shot.

Your POV
"Hey look it's another Slifer Slacker,"Laughed Chazz as I walked by.However I just ignored him like always and kept walking.I was a strong duelist and an A student but the reason I'm still in Slifer Red student was because of my best friend Jaden.We've known each other for years but I've always been the smart one.Out of nowhere I felt someone grab my hand and when I turned around and surprise,surprise who it was.

"Listen to when someone's talking to you slacker,"said Chazz as I ripped my hand out of his grip.A smile appeared on my face as I thought of a perfect comeback to throw at him.(Because you can outsmart anyone)."Really?And this coming from a student with lower grades then me,"I said as a smirk appeared on my face.

People were laughing as they saw Chazz get schooled not only by a girl,but a Slifer Red girl."You may be smart but not strong,"he said as he tried to hit me.I braced myself for the impact but it never came and when I looked up I saw Jaden in front of me."Didn't anyone ever tell you that you shouldn't hit a girl,"he said as he let go of Chazz's fist."You got lucky this time slacker,"said Chazz as he walked off with his friends.

'Huh that's a relief,' I thought as I looked a Jaden."Thanks Jaden I owe you,"I said as we walked to class.He scratched the back of his head and said,"Ah don't mention it I mean what are friends for?" "Yeah.Freinds,"I said as we sat down.I've had a thing for Jaden quite a while so I felt my heart ache when he said friends.(I hate when people friend zone someone that likes them).

Jaden's POV
I looked at (y/n) and saw her expression change to a sad one.I was about to ask her what was wrong but as I was about to ask her."Good day class and take your notebooks out we're taking notes for finals,"said Dr.Crowler as he entered the room.I guess I'll just wait till after my nap.(In other words after class).

~~~~~Time Skip to after class~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey (y/n) why were you sad before class started?"I asked.She started blushing and stuttered,"H-Huh what.me.sad.I ugh.It's nothing really so don't worry."I wonder if Chazz's teasing finally got to her."You sure?"I asked.She nodded and we left to meet up with the rest of the gang.I know something's wrong and she's not telling me.I've known her long enough to know she's lying.

~~~~~Time Skip to 3 days later cause I don't want to write about school ~~~~~

Your POV
It's been three days and I've been avoiding Jaden.My little crush on Jaden got worse to the point that just by thinking about him I blushed or started getting nervous.I think my crush became love.

I was sitting next to my friend (f/n) during lunch because she knew about my feelings for Jaden and I knew about her feelings for someone else."What should I do?I can't keep these emotions bottled up inside much longer,"I said to (f/n).She looked to me and said,"You shouldn't keep running away from Jaden because I'm sure he thinks you're avoiding him because he did something wrong."

I gave her a questioning look before saying,"How do you know?"She stayed quiet for a while before answering,"Because that's how I feel about Syrus avoiding me." I stayed quiet for a while."Oh,"I replied."I'm going to confront him on it today and I sure Jaden will do the same sooner or later,"she said as the bell rang.We got up and made our way to class.

Jaden's POV
It was the end of the day and (y/n) has been avoiding me for 3 days now and to be honest I'm sick of it.I just want things to be normal again with the two of us being best friends and hanging out together.

I was looking for her in the forest near the Slifer Red dorms when I heard someone talking and someone crying?I walked into a clearing and saw (y/n) on the floor with bruises on her arms and she was crying.I turned and saw Chazz was the one talking to her.

"I told you that you were lucky last time.Your pathetic no wonder you're still a Slifer slacker,"Chazz said as he walked closer to her.I saw (y/n) trying to stand up clutching her stomach."So the little slacker has nothing else to say?"He taunted as he and his friends laughed and walked away.(y/n) stood completely tears streaming down her face.

"(y/n) are you ok!?"I Yelled as I ran to her.She tried to walk towards me but ended up falling as I caught her in my arms."I-I'm sorry...Jaden.None of this would have happened if I told you sooner,"she said weakly."What do you mean?"I asked softly.She tried to support herself and stand up."I-If I t-told you I like-no loved you I wouldn't have started avoiding you and Chazz wouldn't have caught me on my own,"she said.

Your POV
"Wait you love me!?"He said shocked.I nodded slowly."Then why were you avoiding me?"He asked.I felt my body giving up a little every second."I w-was afraid of l-losing my best friend and also b-because I thought I would make a fool of m-myself with all the blushing and s-stuttering,"I said weekly."Make a fool of yourself?(y/n) I think it's cute when you do those things," "Really?" "Really and also I love you to,"he said.I smiled weakly as I felt my eyes grow heavy until I was surrounded by darkness.

Jaden's POV
"(y/n)!"I shouted as she passed out in my arms.I picked her up bridal style and ran to the infirmary.As soon as I started running I realized that the sun was setting meaning it would be night soon.I picked up the pace and ran faster.

When I got there the school nurse took her to patch the wounds that Chazz gave her earlier.I'm really worried about (y/n) she was so weak when I found her.Then nurse came out of the room and walked towards me."Is she okay?"I asked.The nurse smiled at me and I took that as a good sign."She'll be fine in a 2 days but until then she has to stay here and rest.You can go see her if you want,I have to go inform Dr.Crowler,"she said as she left.

I entered the room and saw (y/n) laying down on a bed asleep.I walked over to her and took her hand in my own."You'll be better in no time (y/n) I promise,"I said as I lightly squeezed her hand.

************Time skip to 2 days later *****************
Your POV
My dark world changed to light when I opened my eyes.I was in an infirmary bed and Jaden was right next to me sitting in a chair with his head lying on the bed.I remembered what happened and I sat up straight as a giggle escaped my lips."Poor Jaden I must have scared him and my friends when I passed out,"I said as I started petting his hair.

After a while Jaden woke up and he looked at me with one of his famous smiles."Morning sleepy head,"I said.He gave me a playful look."Sleepy head?Look who's talking you were asleep for 2 whole days,"he said.I laughed a bit and pecked his cheek. I saw him blushing when I pulled back and I giggled.

"Ah come on (y/n) that's not a kiss this is,"he said as he pulled me closer.Our lips met and I put my arms around his neck and he snaked one arm around my waist and used the other to support himself.The kiss was long and sweet but we had to pull back for air."I love you (y/n),"Jaden said.I smiled at him and took his hand in mine."I love you to Jaden,"I said happily as he leaned in and kissed me again.
