It was a bad day. When Catalina took her seat to watch Barcelona play against PSG for the first leg of their Round 16 in the Champions League, she didn't expect the game to end with a 4-1 loss.

Pedri approached Catalina as soon as the game ended and she wrapped her arms around him. Pedri couldn't help but bury his head into her shoulder and letting out a deep sigh.

"Fucking hell, I just want to go home," Pedri whispered, "I really can't be bothered with all of this."

"I'll wait for you, however long you'll need."

Pedri nodded and kissed her on the forehead before making his way to the changing room. As he walked, he couldn't help but feel irritated at the way the game had turned out. It wasn't just the loss, it was the way the team had played - sloppy and uncoordinated. He knew they were capable of so much more, and it frustrated him to see them underperform.

When he reached the changing room, he was met with silence. None of his teammates spoke, and he could sense the tension in the air. Maybe it was the inexperience from his side, he knew they were all feeling the same way he was, but he couldn't stand the awkwardness of the situation.

Pedri quickly changed into his clothes and grabbed his bag. Without a word, he hurried out of the changing room and made his way towards the exit. He needed to get out of there, to clear his head and figure out what went wrong.

As he stepped outside the dressing room to regroup with Catalina, Pedri took a deep breath and tried to shake off the disappointment. He knew that there would be another chance to make things right, but right now, he needed silence.

"Can you drive?" Pedri asked, Catalina nodded taking the keys from his hands and getting into the driver's seat.

Catalina wasn't sure how Pedri would like to comforted, but she could tell he was the silent type who'd prefer to be alone. The two stayed silent in the car for a while. It wasn't up until 15 minutes into the drive where Catalina spoke up, "You gave it your all."

Pedri couldn't help but let out a long sigh, "Stop trying to comfort me like you're my girlfriend or something."

Catalina stayed silent once she heard that comment. She switched on the right signal pulling over to the side of the road, she changed the gear to Park and after grabbing her bag, she got out of the car.

Pedri jumped out of the car, chasing after her. He put a hand on her arm trying to stop her, "Where are you going?"

Catalina pushed his arm away, "Shut the fuck up."

"Come on, don't be like this."

She turned around to look at him clearly, "Seriously, leave me alone."

"I didn't mean it, I swear."

"If you didn't mean it then you'd give me space and to be honest, the person who needs it the most is you. I'm going home on my own."

"I know I fucked up, but please don't go home like this."

"If you know what's good for you, then you'd leave me alone."

Catalina turned on her heels and walked away, leaving Pedri standing alone on the side of the road. He watched her go, feeling a mixture of anger and regret, feeling even worse than before. He had screwed up, and he knew it. He couldn't help but feel even more irritated now, not just at the loss but at himself as well.

He stood there for a moment, taking deep breaths to calm himself down. He knew that Catalina needed space, and he had to respect that. He turned around, making his way back to his own car.

As he drove home alone, Pedri couldn't help but replay the events of the day in his head. He knew that he had to do better, for himself and for the team. But he felt his biggest loss was Catalina and the way he treated her was inexcusable.
