Chapter 16 : Surprises

(I'M SORRY IF LAST CHAPTER HAD ANY MISTAKES.. I DIDNT RE-READ IT BECAUSE I WAS TIREDD)

(ALSOO i think I should clarify that it's the afternoon for them right now since kaveh forced alhaitham to sleep... so gay guys..........)

Alhaitham's POV:

When I stood fully up, I noticed that Kaveh was looking at me weirdly. I shrugged it off and walked to the other side of the counter to get some water.

Before I could turn around I felt someone hug me from behind, which startled me a bit at first until I let myself melt into the touch.

"Are you ok, Kaveh?"

"Perfectly fine."

He rested his head on my shoulder while still hugging me, as I placed my cup down. We hadn't even talked about or made anything official yet, so him being so touchy came over to me as odd. I didn't really mind too much though, knowing he felt safe with me was all I needed.

"Alhaitham...."

"Yes?"

"Ah - uh, nevermind."

"What is it?"

Silence filled the room until I heard a faint sniffle come from my shoulder. Was he crying?

"Are you ok?"

"I'm fine - I'm just unusually happy right now.."

Feeling comfortable enough, I allowed myself to smile before I turned around to hug him. It lasted for a little under a minute before we both let go, staring into each others eyes.

"Hey, Kaveh."

"Hm?"

"Your eyes are pretty."

I watched his face turn red in response, which only made me give him an amused look.

"How can you say that like it's nothing..."

I simply shrugged and walk towards the couch, sitting down. Even though I already slept for half the day I still felt pretty exhausted. I noticed Kaveh had sat beside me, placing his hand to the side of my face so he could move it to his shoulder.

"What are you doing?"

"You seemed tired, so rest a bit."

Kaveh felt warm, so warm I just let my head stay there. As much as I felt embarrassed doing this, I grabbed onto his arm and closed my eyes, breathing in deeply. He must have realized, since he laughed quietly.

I felt myself slowly drift off into sleep, before my whole body leaned against Kaveh's more. He wrapped his arms around me and had us laying down, so I could be more comfortable I'd assume. Before I knew it, I was completely asleep.
