Love Others

Fragile gray skin held their massive bodies in time
with invisible notes floating up from taut strings.

Tapping the keys with great care, wrapping their psyches in curative vibration.

Gentle giants, somehow saved from evolution's grip,
still roaming our Earth,
never giving in to nature's call to submit.

They swayed to and fro, tossing dust onto their backs while transfixed in a melody.

A life of
abuse,
neglect,
apathy,
and carelessness
found them at the Pianist's side.

A mission to heal,
a mission to soothe,
to make them soulfully whole again,
or at the very least,
Loved.

Their communication seismic,
their reception blessed in a minutiae of miracles.
Those keys tapped the strings, the music restored their souls.

Love one another, one and all.
