"Mummy, look!"
I chased wave after wave, hoping i would find a fish or coral of some type. The sound of the beach late at night was calming. My mother smiled softly in response, shutting her eyes and not saying a word.

My feet rested in the water as i began to get mesmerised by the stars above me. They were beautiful, amazing, and gorgeous. My mother was in debt and did her best to look after me, her only child.
"You like the stars Chris?" She said in a gentle but monotone voice.

"Yes.. The stars are amazing!"

"Come on we should go before it gets any later, okay Christina?"

"Awww! Okay!"

As she walked away, i ran after her leaving the stars and ocean behind.
"We'll come tomorrow alright?" My mum replied, I nodded in response hoping it would be a regular thing. Coming here everyday, late at night. Only to see the beach, sand, waves and stars.

The only thing is, this would have to stop, because of one simple thing.
