L/N Y/N ; THIRD PERSON ; XIAOLI'S HOUSE ; 5:19PM

y/n was eager to leave, excited for the date. it's been a while since they went on an actual date, the last one being a blind date that lihua set her up for.

despite the eagerness to leave, y/n was being questioned by her two female friends as they just found out that her date was the one and only zhang hao.

"when the fuck did this happen- hao, since when were you interested in y/n- n/n, since when were you and hao going out-" lihua quickly questioned, cutting herself off since she had so many questions to ask.

"y/n, hao, what the hell happened between you two that you're going on a fucking date, WITH EACH OTHER?!" xiaoli asked, her hand covering her mouth in shock.

"we don't have time to explain it now, we can just tell you about it later. we have to go, like, now, because the restaurant is so fucking far from here and we have to be there early." hao complained, looking at the two flabbergasted women in front of him.

"you look absolutely stunning, by the way." he complimented y/n with a smile as he grabbed their hand. y/n smiled back at him before complimenting him back.

"and you look drop dead gorgeous." she said, following him out of the house.

"I'll text you about it later, babes! thanks for the help!" y/n called out to her friends, waving at them before she got into the passenger seat of one of hao's many sports cars.

the two shocked women stood outside the door, slowly waving as their friend pulled out of the driveway. with that, y/n and hao were off to their date.

after the almost two hour drive to the fancy ass restaurant, they have arrived. the car ride was almost quiet, just their music playing with a few little conversations.

hao parked his car and quickly got out, going to y/n's side to open the door for her.

"aww, hao, thank you." y/n smiled, taking his hand as they got out of the vehicle.

hao closed the car door behind her and they went inside the restaurant, hand in hand.

"hello, do you have a reservation?" the person at the counter asked as soon as the pair approached it.

"yes, under zhang hao?" hao responded, showing the conformation text that he got, days prior when he reserved one of the private rooms.

"oh, alright. qingge, can you lead them to private room 37." they asked, gesturing to a female worker behind them.

said worker nodded and gestured for the two to follow them.

when they got to the room, they lead them inside and pulled their chairs out for them. as they were about to leave, they told them something.

"you two look like a cute couple by the way." they said before leaving.

y/n flushed red, looking up at hao who was also red. they couldn't even correct the person since they already left, leaving a sign that says "ring the bell for service."

y/n blinked too flustered to say something.

"ummm, anywayssss..." hao said, in english, holding out the "ways" at the end.

"WAIT YOU CAN SPEAK ENGLISH?! I'VE KNOWN YOU FOR MY WHOLE LIFE AND YPU DIDN'T TELL ME THIS?! WERE YOU LYING WHEN YOU TOLD ME YOU DIDNT UNDERSTAND ME WHENEVER I SPEAK IN ENGLISH?!" y/n gasped. hao sat there in silence, shocked at her sudden outburst.

"I don't know english properly. I just picked up a few words from some friends and they were teaching me english." hao explained, going ":/" at y/n.

"then why didn't you tell me? bae, I can teach you english!" y/n sighed, smiling at him.

hao started to blush at the nickname. she called all her friends those kinds of things; bae, babes, baby, you name it. but he just couldn't help himself.

he smiled back, his cheeks rosy. with that, they finally decided to order and go on with their date.
