Soobin heard a knock on the door and immediately got up, opened it and greeted his older friend, Yeonjun.

He glanced at him worriedly. The boy had messy hair, the redness around his eyes probably from crying, and the way his head hung low. It made him want to protect him and keep him close.

"Sorry I look like a mess" Soobin apologized quietly and Yeonjun stepped inside his house.

"No, it's okay. I totally understand. Can I-" Yeonjun paused for a second, trying not to sound desperate, "-hug you?"

Soobins eyes widened a little bit as he was not expecting that from the older. But, he actually did want– need a hug so he nodded.

Yeonjun smiled softly and wrapped his arms around the younger boy. Soobin had never felt so warm and protected before. He hugged him back and let his tears fall.

"I'm here for you, always." The older reassured, hugging him tighter.

Later, after Soobin finally let go, they sat on the couch and put on some children's cartoons, as they were comforting for Soobin.
