Kaleidoscope

I bartered my heart
For your love,
Never was i mindful
Of your cruelty.

Your gazes, pierced my heart
And my feeble mind fell for it.
Thinking i could be Cupid,
But i never thought Apollo
Could pierce my achilles.

My foolishness, you used
As a segue to my heart.
You guised yourself
Like a chameleon
Mirroring lies on my mind.

I was blinded by the blinds
That shut my eyes from truth.
The lies you spewed became
Beacons homing in on me.

I thought we had forever,
But we lost today.
There was no fun,
Where we found fun.
So for one last time
Embrace me and take me out
Of this denial I find myself.
