I bartered my heart
For your love,
Never was i mindful
Of your cruelty.Your gazes, pierced my heart
And my feeble mind fell for it.
Thinking i could be Cupid,
But i never thought Apollo
Could pierce my achilles. My foolishness, you used
As a segue to my heart.
You guised yourself
Like a chameleon
Mirroring lies on my mind.I was blinded by the blinds
That shut my eyes from truth.
The lies you spewed became
Beacons homing in on me.I thought we had forever,
But we lost today.
There was no fun,
Where we found fun.
So for one last time
Embrace me and take me out
Of this denial I find myself.
