Part of a Team

It has been a couple of weeks now and I finally moved in with Jessica and Chris.

I absolutely love it because I finally found someplace outside of work where I don't need to worry about anything anymore.

I got to paint my own room and the girls and Luke helped me with it.

I stopped cutting and have no more suicidal thoughts and my anxiety still is troubling me but my depression is not as bad.

Back at work.

I, now of course ride with Jessica to work every day.

We get there and go into our trailers.

I get dressed in the outfit that I'm supposed to wear.

Hey, Avery, honey, did you get the blue shirt for the softball game, Jessica asks me through the door.

You can come in mom, I don't mind, I say to her.

I cover my mouth realizing what I said.

Did I just hear, she asks me as she opens the door.

I'm, I'm so sorry, I didn't realize, I'm so sorry, I say to her apologizing.

She hugs me happily.

I embrace it.

You can call me that honey, I mean I am your mom legally now after all, she says to me.

I smile and hug her.

Oh and yes I have it, I say to her.

Ok, good, bring it with you, she says to me.

Got it, I say to her.

The hair and makeup came and did my hair and makeup into a bun.

I smile and realize Jessica said softball.

Wait, we're doing softball, I say to her.

Yeah, we are, wait, you can play softball, Jessica says smiling.

I can, oh, I have my glove in my trailer, I'm going to go get it, I say to her.

Ok honey, but hurry back, Jessica says.

So I get my softball glove and come back.

Then we get to set.

Am I allowed to play, like actually play, I ask the director.

Yea you can, sure, the director says.

I smile and jump around happily.

Then I get on set and get to my spot.

Everyone is in the conference room but me.

And action, the director says.

I walk in.

What are you doing, I ask as I see the white board.

Oh we are picking positions for the softball game against Seattle Pres. , Jackson says.

Oh, I can play, I look older than I am, so I can be an intern or something, I say to them.

No, it's illegal, Bailey says.

Oh come on, I can help, I'm good at it, please, I say to Owen.
