Amelia had always been drawn to the dark and mysterious, and when she met Alexander for the first time, she knew that he was the one for her.
It was a cold winter's night, and she had been walking alone, lost in her thoughts, when she saw him. He was standing on the street corner, smoking a cigarette, his dark eyes piercing through the fog.
Amelia couldn't help but feel drawn to him, and before she knew it, she was walking towards him.
"Excuse me," she said softly. "Do you know the way to the train station?"
Alexander turned towards her, and their eyes met. For a moment, they just stared at each other, and then he spoke.
"I do, but it's not safe for you to be out here alone at night. Let me walk you there."
Amelia hesitated for a moment, but then nodded. She felt safe with him, and there was something about him that she couldn't resist.
As they walked, Alexander told her about his past, about the mistakes he had made and the things he had seen. Amelia listened intently, fascinated by his dark stories.
By the time they reached the train station, Amelia knew that she had found something special. She didn't know what it was yet, but she knew that she had to see him again.
