Kamari was never severely autistic, he didn't sit too far on the spectrum and most of his symptoms seemed to affect his behaviour the most
Kamari was diagnosed with autism at the age of 3. Kamari would do things that children his age we just not expected to do. After continuous complaints Tiana finally was finally able to get her son an appointment to be tested for what she thought was autism
Tiana had no help besides Imani who was also a young inexperienced mother. Both her parents were dead. and Keyshawn had ran off with Courtney paying little attention to Kamari's problems.
He would fuss at Tiana telling her she was over thinking and that there was nothing wrong with their son and he was just overly imaginative but the truth was he just didn't spend enough time with him to see Kamari needed help
Once the Autism diagnosis was confirmed. Kamari was put into behavioural management programs and any outbursts he had since the age of three were credited to his 'autism'
In reality Kamari was falling deeper and deeper into his schizophrenia and the longer it stayed untreated the worser the outcome was becoming
Imagine a cauldron of highly reactive gas being left to bubble growing and growing slowly every day until the the cauldron can no longer withstand the gas. That was Kamari and everyday that he went on was a day closer to Kamari breaking down and crashing.

"Lil girl who you yelling at."Imani laughed as he daughter rushed her

"Oh so you even thought about I got sum for you when we get back."Imani spoke
"Tre won't let you touch me."Ky'lani stuck her tounge out
"I whoop both of you with my eyes blindfolded and my hands tied behind my back."Imani replied
"Now ma you an avenger or what be so fr."Ky'lani laughed
"No cause you got me messed lil girl."Imani replied
"You so dramatic."Ky'lani laughed
"You heard from Mari."Imani asked
"No he in one of his lil moods and I'm not really trying deal with it right now."Ky'lani responded
