"ꜰɪɴɢᴇʀ ɢʟᴏᴡ"𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘 magic ceremony came and Aneira tried so hard not to be there. There would be no purpose for her to attend anyways because she already has access to her magic. She only hoped to see one person and one person only, Sophie.
Tedros had been trying to talk to her leading up to the day of the ceremony. Aneira tried her best to avoid him, and was only partially successful.
The dress she picked out to wear for the ceremony was her favorite color; blue. It was big, with at least three layers, and reached the floor. She chose to wear her purple cape gifted to her by her cousin to go along with it.
Aneira looks for Sophie amongst the Never students in the meeting hall. "Lose something?" Tedros appeared beside her and asked. A wide grin was plastered on his face.
"Or just looking for another face to punch or ice over?" He continued. Aneira wasn't amused. She just wanted to talk and find Sophie.
"I can't find Sophie," Aneira replied. She wondered what happened to her friend after she was taken away. Did they kill her? Harm her? Turn her into a bird like Gregor?
"Just want to make sure she's okay," Aneira continued. She walked forward, deciding that she needed space from Tedros. Sophie was more important now.
"Well, I'm sure she won't miss this. Big day today. Both schools finally getting access to their magic," Tedros says, quickening his pace to catch up to her.
Aneira couldn't be bothered about the ceremony. She ignores Tedros, but he stops her before she could walk away.
"Hey, you should know some people are saying you're a witch," Tedros says. Aneira was used to being called such names. She heard people call her grandmother a witch, her bullies called her a witch, her kingdom's people called her great-aunt a witch.
"Yeah, I've heard that before. Many times," Aneira chuckled. She wanted to walk on, but Tedros stopped her again. "It's nothing new to me, Tedros. I'm used to it," She continued.
"For the record, I don't think you are," He reassured.
"Yeah? Then what am I, him?"
Tedros took a deep breath. He wanted to take a hold of her hand to calm her down, because she seemed a bit tense, but he didn't want to disrespect her space. He just smiled.
"I wish I knew," He says, "Because you're sure not like anybody I've ever met before. You're beautiful, Annie. The white streaks in your hair only enhance your beauty."
