Painful Secrets

Chapter 9

Seungmin was like the kindest person Jeongin had met . He trusted him and had taken a great liking to him . Not in a romantic way but rather in a familial or platonic way. Seungmin was a really cool person to hang out with .

So was Felix . Felix was a really sweet person and he and Jeongin became good friends by sharing their love for k-dramas , unlike Seungmin .

Jisung had a good relationship with Jeongin too and he was a really funny person .

Chan was like the leader of the whole spy group . He was a really warm - hearted person and he had proved that to Jeongin when he decided to let the younger live .

Though Changbin and him had a rough start , they managed to get along together afterwards .

The one who still didn't trust him was Hyunjin . He never talked to him or threatened Jeongin in any way but it was obvious that he didn't like Jeongin or the fact that Felix spent too much time with him.

And at last but not least was Lee Minho , the man who brought him here to where he was now . Jeongin and Minho were people who barely talked to each other and Jeongin always wondered why . It wasn't like Jeongin had ever done anything to make Minho not even want to see him , so why couldn't the older interact with him the way others do .

Did he want Jeongin dead?

If he did , then why did he let him live ?

Maybe it was something else ?

But what ?

It was something Jeongin didn't really dwell onto for long .

It had been almost a week since Jeongin had started living in the house and he had fallen into a routine of waking up in Seungmin's bed , eating breakfast and spending the rest of the day with the other's and sleeping in Seungmin's arms .

Right now , it was probably afternoon and he was sitting on the couch inside the PC room with Felix , watching the last episode of the k-dramas 'Take Beauty' 'on the television.

The PC room was a room Chan kept for computers . There were different sections for different computers . There were at least three each for hacking , writing documents that came with a high quality printer and other three used for playing games that came with headphones . There were at least 9 computers and Jeongin was surprised at how Chan had managed to afford such expensive computers . The room also had a couch and television . They were set away from the computers in the neatest way possible . The room was really neat and organised which was a result of Felix's handiwork.

"That was a really good drama ." Felix exclaimed, turning off the tv.

"Yeah," Jeongin smiled , "I did feel bad for Seojun though. I wanted Jukyung to end up with him rather than Suho."

"I guess that could also be a great ending . He did love her for 3 years . But what can you do?" Felix said , shrugging his shoulders.

The door of the room opened and the one to come was Jisung .

"Hey , guys. What are you doing ?"he asked.

"Nothing . Just finished watching a drama , 'True Beauty.'"

"Oh , I've watched that one . I didn't like it. I like "The Glory" . I'm gonna watch the new episode that got released last night. Do you wanna watch it too?"

Felix had eagerly nodded but Jeongin hesitated .

"The Glory" was a drama about a girl who got bullied in school and later took revenge from her bullies .

Jeongin has tried watching the first episode with Seungmin and he couldn't handle the violence as it only conjured up the memories of abuse in his own life . He had curled up on Seungmin's lap as he dug his hand on the older's chest while covering his ears trying to block the creams of the poor girl who got her arms burned with a curling iron.
