Dear diary.
My only friend, Murewa, hooked me up on a blind date with a lady I've never met before. She seemed to want to get to know me but I seemed to become quiet all of a sudden. I didn't know what to say to her and I guess I frustrated her a lot. She walked out on me after calling me a snob in front of the eyes of strangers at the restaurant.
At that moment, I was grateful that I wasn't one of my musicians and also very few pictures of mine were on social media since I hated the internet. People stared at me after she left and once I glared at them, they quickly minded their business. All I could think about was the lady in the sunflower dress. I wondered what she was doing that moment and I wished I could see her.
Once I got home, Murewa called me to tell me what I did to the girl was very unfair and how he wanted me to apologise to her. I told him that I already did but she yelled at me -which was true- and that I wasn't interested in talking to the girl ever again. He told me that if I kept up with my attitude, I would end up old, wealthy, single, lonely and depressed.
I couldn't help but pray he was wrong.
