Dear Raya,

It's Saturday. The day's almost over, and Mother's Day is tommorow. It's going to be especially hard for Carol this year. It's weird... you knew Carol longer than you knew mom, but you're with mom. I knew mom longer, but I'm with Carol. You know that obnoxious kid in my science class, Daniel? He's been acting slightly more crazy lately. Wish mom a happy mother's day, okay? I'll do the same to Carol for you.

I was going over to Leah's house today, but I guess you don't really want to hear about her. For the record, Rose seems to be doing okay. A little sad still, but aren't we all? WYWH. You were so good at art, and our project is due next week... I'm sorry. This was supposed to be a letter, not a complaint about life. I suppose life will get better, though.

Went shopping today with Dad, because Carol had an appointment today. Nothing much, but I'll try to do more exciting things soon. Summer's coming soon, after all. I love you so much.
