Chapter 1

It had been a year since the woodsboro murders, A year since natalie's best friend and brother were killed.

She used to have an older brother, Oliver. But on the last night of the killings, She had found him in the basement after Richie had killed him when the two of them had gone to get beer. The doctors had said that He had been stabbed 15 times in the back and 5 times in his stomach.

It was now the night of their first halloween party since, She was nervous of course. But she tried her best not to let it bother her, Seeing as her friends and people who she knew would be there just in case. Natalie was lucky to have the friends she did, Although the didn't get along all the time, They were close.

Natalie's heels clicked on the ground as she walked up to the frat house, The music could be heard from down the street. She walked through the door revealing the dark blue lights the reflected onto her body, They made her feel dizzy for a second but she recovered quickly and began looking around slowly, scanning the room for her friends. She saw Mindy and Anika sitting on the couch, Talking about god knows what. A small smile crept on her face at the sight of the couple.

She looked away and began to walk through the house searching for anyone she could've spent her time with. Natalie wasn't the type of person to make friends just like that, She liked to either keep to herself or stay with her close friends.

Just as she was about to turn the corner, hands made their way around her waist. A small scream almost left her mouth as panic crept over her body, But the familiar smell of her boyfriend crept through her nose.

She sighed and a small smile set onto her face as she felt the feeling of cardboard on her back. She turned around to look at the curly haired boy, He looked at her like he never had to any other girl before. He was totally and unconditionally in love with her, He had been since the day he met her. she smiled up at him, And He stared, He looked at every inch of her face and his chest felt warm at how happy she looked with him.

"Hey" She said softly to him, She knew he was the only one who could hear her as the music was too loud. His brown eyes scanned her body, Looking at her silk green dress.

"Hey" He smiled back at her, He leaned down and kissed her soft lips. If you were to ask Ethan to write a paragraph about history it would've taken him days, But if you asked him to write a paragraph about Natalie, He would have written a book.

His curls slightly touched her forehead and she leaned away from him, just so she could look at him. His smile returned to his face and They just stood there, Not a care in the world for anyone else. She felt like No one else was in the room.

Chad walked over to The couple staring at the two in disgust, He shook the feeling off his body and grabbed Natalie's waist bringing her in for a hug. Ethan's jaw clenched and looked away from the two shaking his head. Of course Ethan had known from the start how close the two were but He never thought it would have been a big deal until he realized how much he really liked Natalie.

As Chad released the girl from his grip, She smiled up at him like she always did, While Ethan stood behind her not even a simple smile on his face. He took the cardboard hat off of his head and placed it into his hand.

It was as if he was the moon and she was the sun, They were complete opposites but both fit together perfectly like a puzzle.

Chad and Natalie had begun talking, Ethan had no interest in their conversation so he pulled out his phone and began to scroll through instagram. It had been a few minutes or so of scrolling through instagram when Suddenly Natalie grabbed onto his arm dragging him somewhere, He slid his phone into his back pocket and adjusted their hands so they were intertwined.
