It's been too long since I have seen Melissa. We have been together for nearly 7 years and recently I was deployed in the army so I couldn't see her. We wrote to each other frequently but it's not the same.

The only reason I'm back is because I got injured. I got shot in my abdomen. Rushed into surgery but it's ok now only has to be wrapped. Anyway I am surprising Melissa today and Jenna is helping me.

I get into my car and head over to the set. It is only a 15 minute drive so I just blast some music on my way.

I message Jenna to let her know I am here and she comes over to my car.
Jen: 'hey dude'
Y/N: 'hey so whats the plan'
J: ' we've got it all set up. You're gonna walk in with me and Melissa is going to be talking to mason. I will shout telling them it's just me so she doesn't turn around then you will go over to her'
Y: 'ok thank you so much for this shorty' she punches my shoulder and laughs
J: 'no problem let's go then' I nod

We walk into the room and Melissa has her back towards me. Perfect.
Jen: 'JUST ME GUYS CARRY ON AS YOU WERE BEFORE'

I get smiles from everyone as I walk closer to Melissa. Once I was close enough and was standing behind her the person she was talking to walked away. I saw out of the corner of my eye that there was a camera on us.
So I whispered to her ear.
Y/N: 'You did amazing love!'I told her and she whipped around.
Once she saw me she gasped and I saw tears falling down her face.
Mel: 'Omg' she said and flung her arms around me and cried into my shoulder.
I could hear she was struggling to find the right words to say as I could hear her stuttering.
M: 'You here' she finally says as she pulls away.
Y: 'I am I'm home baby' I said and she pulled me into a kiss.
M: 'God I missed you so much' she said and cried again.
Y: 'missed you too love and please don't cry' I said wiping her tears away.

M: 'Right let go I wanna introduce you to my cast mates' she said and we walked away to see her friends. 'You excited to meet them' she asked.
Y: 'Yeah I'm a little nervous' I said to her.
M: ' Why my love?'
Y: 'Because they are like your second family'
M: 'You have nothing to worry about and after we're done I can come home with you I'm sure the director will let me and we can go get some dinner and go home and be together ok'  she asks and cups my cheek.
Y: 'Okay' I said and we kissed.

We walked over to where her cast mates were .
M: 'Hey guys i would  like you to meet my girlfriend Y/N'
Y: 'Hi' I said and they all said hi back.
Devyn: 'So Y/N, Melissa talks about you a lot where have you been'

Y: 'Oh I'm in the military and I've finally came back'
'Wow' a lot of them said to me making me laugh.
M: 'Yeah she's my soldier' Mel said making me laugh.
'Right ill see you later girls' she said and we left she was allowed to go home with me so we spent a night together with a romantic dinner and movies.

Then we had some awesome sex that I have missed so much.
Y: 'I love you' I said breathing heavily as she cuddled further into my chest.
M: 'I love you too soldier' she said and I laughed at the nickname. 'Also what the fuck happened to your stomach it's all wrapped?!'
Y: 'oh yeah that. Hmmmm well I got shot' i said nonchalantly
M: 'What and we've just had sex. Why are you so relaxed about this.'
Y: I pull her back into my chest. 'Because darling it doesn't hurt your like my medicine.'

She snuggles into me and I hear light snores. I kiss her temple and slowly drift off to sleep after her.
