Din Djarin -

"What?!" I slammed my fist against the table.

The three Mandalorians jump slightly in response. "Din." my wife whispered, giving me the eye of 'I can handle this'.

I straighten myself. Happy riduur, happy life. "I thought we explained to you that we want our daughter within fortress grounds." Bo strolled past me and towards the kids.

"Yes my Manda'lor but I wanted to show her around and introduce her to my clan," Ragnar explains.

"Appointments can be made within fortress grounds. You are able to bring some members of your clan here to introduce to Aeja." My wife states.

Ragnar nodded his head. I watched his body language; confident outside, nervous inside. Beads of sweat dripped from his temple and a few splashes of blood remained. "Apologies, Manda'lor." his arm crossed his chest as he bowed. "It won't happen again."

"And you." Bo turned her attention to Kipp.

The boy held his head high. "Is it true that you saved both of them?"

"I'd hope so." he smiled.

Bo returned the gesture. "You have our gratitude."

Our gratitude? I raised my eyebrows. "Thank you, my Manda'lor and Lord Djarin." Kipp bowed.

Exnaliging me as well? I'm impressed. This boy has grown but let's hope he doesn't take this for granted. "Aeja, thanks for keeping a strong head but you know the rules."

"Yes, buir." my girl nodded her head.

"Learn to say no once in a while." Bo smiled. "That will be all. Dismissed."

The three bowed and left the room. My wife stood and set, slid down, and sighed. "You wanted the job." I shrugged.

"Raising kids?" she looked up at me.

"Ruling." I walked over to her and tried my best to massage her shoulders under the armor.

"Some days I wonder why I wanted the occupation."

"We're in this together." My lips pressed against her cheek. "Remember the vow I made?"

"How can I forget it?" she smirked.

I couldn't help but smile. "How many times did it take to rehearse it?" she snickered.

"Not long. I spoke what came to mind."

"Aren't you the charmer."

We spend a few moments in loving silence. "That boy has turned a leaf." Bo finally breaks the quiet atmosphere.

"How can we trust him? He could be putting on a spectacle."

"He could but do you think his loyalty will out way his past sins?"

"Do you not remember what he did as a child?"

"And do you not remember all of the evidence pointed at Aeja? We hoped her guilty conscience would take control but she never confessed. That boy is loyal to her and you can see it through every action he does."

I hesitated. I didn't want to argue with my wife but I was frustrated. "You don't like the idea of your daughter falling in love with a Mandalorian clan that's long been forgotten." Bo turned her head back to look at me.

"Maybe." I shrugged. "I don't like the idea of any of my children leaving. You saw how I was with Grogu."

"And he's doing great on his own. Traveling with his master."

"I only let him go because you trusted Clan Wren."

"Sabine has been an ally of mine, yes. If you can trust Clan Wren then you certainly can trust Clan Convor."

"You trust him?"

"He's loyal to our daughter. He didn't come back with a riduur and he still has eyes for Aeja."

I sighed. Maybe... "What of Vizsla?"

"If the two aren't fit for each other then they'll talk it over. They're grown, adults. They don't need their parents to intervene."

"In a sense, they do."

"Din." she rolled her eyes.

"Bo." I mocked my wife.

She shoved me causing me to laugh. Bo stood up and grabbed my hand. "You need to learn to trust. Years upon years of trauma have built up and I know you're still struggling with it just as much as I am but you need to open up to your kids." she pecked my lips.

"I'm not perfect, Bo. You know I'm trying." I pecked her lips in return.

"I know you are." she slowly wrapped her arms around my neck.

I rested my hands on her hips. Our heads gently tapped together, the keldabe kiss. "I love you," Bo whispered.

"I love you more."

"Sure."
