I can't believe I made it into a- troupe! I'm so proud!!

"You did it!" People tell to their friends

"New girl, what's up?" Someone else calls.

"Obviously" Emily says touching her hair

"Give me a hug!" Emily says as em, tiff, Riley, Chloe and I all hug.

Emily goes over to comfort Giselle. She didn't make it.

I'm really surprised that she didn't make it to a troupe this year. She's worked so hard and is an incredible dancer.

The e girls and I watched as Emily and Giselle talked.

We all watch as Eldon approaches em after Giselle leaves.

"Here we go again." I laugh

"Isint this like the 1000th time he's asked her out?" Tiff says

"Probably." I laugh

Right now I'm hanging out in the juice bar with the other e girl's.

"So welcome, not only to a- troupe but, you know, e girls." Emily says to Chloe and I.

"Thank you, very excited to be here." I say.

"Thank you, I'm very excited too."

"Good you should be." Em says

"You guys know the rules right?"

"Lay em on us." I say laughing

"Okay, number 1, an e girl always has another e girls back."

"Alright I can do that." I say.

"Okay, I can do that." Chloe says.

"Number 2, an enemy of any e girl, in an enemy of all e girls." Em says looking at me on the last part.

"Fair enough." Chloe says.

"Yep." I say.

"Number 3, know the handshake."

We all do the e girls handshake.

To do the e girl hand shake, you start with an e, and then you connect with someone else to make a g

"We have sleepovers, were always together" Emily starts but then Giselle walks in.

"Hey guys." She says sitting on ems chair.

"Hey, how are you?"

"I'm okay, yeah"

"Good, yeah, that's good."

Chloe and I share a look.

It's a little awkward because, Chloe and I just joined a troupe and she just got demoted to b.

"Can I talk to you for a second?"

"Sure."

Em and Giselle stand up and go a bit further away.

"Look, uh, just like there's rules in the studio, theres also rules in e girls. And... To be in e girls, you have to be in a troupe Giselle." Emily says.

I think it's a bit harsh that Emily has to kick Giselle out of e girls, like just because she's not in a troupe that means she can't be in our friend group?

"Guess I'll just see you guys later."

"Yeah."

Emily walks back and Giselle leaves.

"Emily you don't think it's a bit harsh kicking her out?" I ask.

"Lily, your new here, and this is how the rules work. Don't make me have to kick you out too." Em says sitting down.
