Chapter-29

Yeonjun and Soobin are driving to the marriage registration office, Taehyun is already there with Jimin, who accepted to the witness of their marriage, the environment is not joyful rather it's quite filled with dread, Yeonjun is on guard, they don't know what obstacle they can come across, and also they have to bring Jungwon and Bo-Ah along with them,

This morning he visited his Taehyung Hyung, his condition is still unpredictable, after seeing Jungkook looking dead, the younger has promised that he will take the revenge on whoever that has tried to snatch their family happiness, he parked the car before going down, Soobin already signed the adoption papers that this morning Yeonjun gave him,

The younger picked Jungwon into his arms, entering the room, "Took you long enough" Jimin grumbled, he has lots of works and this couple are late, "Sorry we got stuck" the older just nodded, the registrar came in with his attendants, the four stood before him, "So who is getting married here?" he asked, keeping his glasses, "We" Yeonjun came forward along with Soobin, giving Jungwon to Bo-Ah, 

The Registrar nodded, he filled the formalities, asked the couple to sign then the witnesses, "Have you brought the ring?" "Yes" Yeonjun nodded getting the box out of his pocket, "You can exchange the rings and kiss each other" Both exchanged the rings and kissed each other lightly, the photos are clicked for proof, soon they were received the marriage certificate with which they came out, "You have conference now?" Taehyun asks coming out with the couple, "Yep!" the younger nodded "All the best, I am leaving"

Jimin immediately left, he has got new information to hunt down, Soobin is looking at the ring that is adoring his finger, "It's beautiful" he whispered, a small smile formed on his face, Yeonjun smiled a little after a long time, "Jungwon fell asleep, are you sure you want to take him to the conference Young Master?" Bo-Ah asks from behind, "We won't reveal his face, but we will just inform the media about the adoption" the older nodded, 

Soobin took a deep breath as they entered the vicinity of the company, the reporters must be inside waiting for them, Namjoon took the lead in handling this press conference, with the help of Security, the four are lead inside the company, upstairs to the room where the conference is being held, 

Namjoon looks at his watch as he waits for his brother arrival, along with Soobin and Jungwon. He doesn't know if his brother plans works or not, but he left it to Yeonjun, as the younger seemed more confident in his decision, reporters are ready with their questions, cameras at the front are directly recording the scene, live,

The Door creaks open, Yeonjun enters the room, followed by Soobin who has Jungwon in his hands, Bo-Ah enters the room with a blank face, everyone in the room is thoroughly checked so it is safe, the camera immediately flashes towards the couple, murmurs broke among the reporters,

Jungwon, just hid himself more in Soobin's embrace, clinging onto him tightly, "I request everybody to be silent, everyone gets their chance to question them" the reporters stayed out hearing Namjoon, it's more of a like a command, the couple sat on the chairs that are arranged for them, Bo-Ah is standing behind them with Soo-Hyuk, he is here for Soobin,

"Good afternoon everyone, thanks for attending on short notice, As you might have already known, this press meet is held to clarify the news that is causing the whole chaos out there from a few days. I would like to say that the couple will only answer the questions which are in limits and anyone who dares to try going past their limit will receive a penalty under the lawsuit" Namjoon says in his deep cold voice, which holds authority, the hall is silent,

Namjoon hands the mic over to Yeonjun, Yeonjun takes a deep breath, intertwining with his husband's hand, giving a comforting squeeze, "Thanks everyone for generously attending on the short notice, before we move on to he questionnaire, I have to make some announcements today" Soobin breaths out, holding a sleeping Jungwon, he takes the certificate from Bo-Ah and holds it in the air, "Me and Soobin are married, this is the certificate of the marriage" camera flashes increased, the hall once again erupted, they started firing questions,

"And" he looks at Jungwon and then at media, "this is my son who we adopted a few days ago" he shows the adoption papers which he got prepared, he planned it very perfectly even before this scandal, he made everything that he could have Jungwon as his son, without any problems, "you must be wondering about the recent scandal which involves me. I am here to make it clear to you that It was not me who is in the video and I would never ever cheat on Soobin, I don't know why or who did it but I will make sure to bring everything into light, the day I know the truth"

"What with the sudden marriage with Mr. Jeon Soobin, Mr. Kim?" Reporter-1 asks, Yeonjun mentally rolls his eyes, "I am already planning this for a long time, but this scandal came out of nowhere to disturb our peaceful relation, so we decided to take this step to show whoever conspired against us that no matter what, we are strong" Yeonjun confidently answered, there is no hesitation or fear on his face, "so the video is false ? And you are not the one in it?" The same reporter asks, "yes, It's not me and to quench your thirst, I will provide you some evidence" Yeonjun says, Bo-Ah hands his the photos, "it's my doppelganger, this photo was taken yesterday in Japan by the people I hired for the investigation and this pendrive hold the video footage of yesterday's" he says keeping them on the table,

"Mr. Jeon, do you really believe Mr. Kim? What are your thoughts on this whole situation" One of the reporters asks, "This is not the first time that something like this happened with us, but this time it has crossed all the limits. At first I was too heartbroken to even think rationally and the possibilities but later everything made sense when we put the pieces together, it's not my Husband who is in the video and I trust him with my whole heart and my soul accepted him" Younger replies, he pats on Jungwon back when the baby stirs,

"what about the kid? Is it just for distraction?" Soobin huffed internally in annoyance, "No, we are thinking of adopting kids for a long time now. it's just more of a coincidence that these both tangled up in this whole chaos" Soobin replies confidently, Yeonjun looks at his lover with so much love and proud oozing out of his eyes, he just loves his boy so much, they later answered every question, the reporters to didn't cross the line while questioning because they know the power that Kims hold,

After finishing the conference, Yeonjun along with Soobin and Jungwon decided to leave as it's not that much of a safety to stay outside this long, just as they were about to hop into the car, someone ran towards the couple with a knife but immediately got tackled to the ground by the guards, "I WILL KILL YOU KIM" this woke Jungwon up who  started to cry historically, "get in" Yeonjun clenched his fist and jaw as he looked at the tackled person who is screaming her heart out,

Soobin hesitantly got inside the car, "Noona" he called when Bo-Ah started the car along with Soo-Hyuk in the passenger seat, "Not now Soobin" Soo-Hyuk starts loading his gun, preparing for the worst, it's their job to protect them, "but he is out there, I can't leave him" "we can't protect you both at the same time, it will become as a distraction Soobin, please Young Master Kim" now this got Soobin shut his mouth,but he can't help but worry about his husband who is out there, Yeonjun didn't even turned towards them as they are leaving,

Yeonjun knows that his husband is left, a smirk made its way on his handsome face as looks at the women thrashing in his men's hold "I never thought that, it would be so easy to get you all  worked up Ahn Soo-Ah"
