"yo y/n!" i heard a faint voice shout, the loud music playing through my airpods.
i stopped in my tracks, looking around for who was calling my name.
my eyes landed on shaheem. whom was leaning on his car, one hand in his hoodie pocket.
he noticed me looking at him from across the street, "c'mere!" he shouted again.
rolling my eyes as i began walking over to him, checking left to right before crossing the street.
he was the last person i wanted to see rn. this was because he had a whole girlfriend while he was talking to me.
at first, i didn't really take him serious until we started talking more. i felt something was wrong about him, but i was too attached to notice the red flags.
