We had been figuring out our superpowers for a while, I was just sat down as i had got the basics of it while Billy tried litterally power in the book. And did not succeed might I add.
Freddy was still obsessed. Its pissing me the fuck off. What's so special about batson anyway? Hes a dickhead who would've lost one of the most valuable things you own if it weren't for me.
Suddenly Billy was jumping off a car, I don't know why. But I ran to catch him, and I did before I placed him down
" okay then, y/n has super speed and super strength to add to his list" freddy smiled at me " can you fly y/n?"
" I'm not stupid enough to jump off a car and try, but maybe...if I chanel my powers of levitation enough I can just....fly by levitating myself?" I shrugged
" smart, you do that. Back here though, i don't want to record you, have people see it's you then make them start crowding you" he said " not trying to he mean, just wanna be thoughtful since you don't turn into an adult with your powers "
I nodded and went back behind him to practice while I watched batson try out other things
" Billy, you wanna try invisibility?" Freddy asked the older
" how do I...? Yknow what, whatever record" he shrugged
Freddy began recording, he tensed up all his muscles making me roll my eyes as he screwed his eyes shut and strained to try and become invisible
" oh my god!" Freddy exclaimed " it worked!"
I pretended to act in shock as to go along with his joke " where'd you go?!" I laughed
Billy opened his eyes wide and un tensed himself " I'm right here. You can't see me?" He asked in awe
" where?" Freddy asked
" I'm invisible!" Exclaimed Billy happily while laughing " Im right here, over here " he jumped around as me and freddy stared into any spot he wasn't in in confusion " I'm invisible!" He laughed " I'm invisible!"
" hey!" Some random strangers called " nice outfit, dipshit"
I burst out laughing while freddy tried to contain his laugh " I might've been testing invisibility and super intelligence at the same time"
" freeman, l/n. I'm gonna come over there and beat you" he pointed our way , suddenly lightning shot from his finger startling all of us and exploding a distribution transmitter on a power pole
" oh my god!" Freddy exclaimed in excitement, his eyes scrunching up, his cheeks balling up and his smile bright as ever " the lightning emblem, it was staring us right in the face the whole time!"
" literally!"
The two laughed in excitement, I get it his powers hadn't come around as quick as mine. But I never got a celebration like this for any of the stuff I've figured out how to do pretty much on my own.
" come with me" Billy spoke excitedly " i have some things we can electrocute!"

We were in the park, electrocuting some kind of metal dome I've forgotten the name of.
" okay, okay, clearly we have to give you a lightning themed super hero name" freddy giggled happily, the two of us nodded
Sudden screams became apparent, we looked towards a woman having her bad stolen.
Freddy pointed at us then to her, I understood and immediately ran over to help while Billy took a minute to start walking towards where I was wrestling the bag from the man's hands before the woman sprayed him with pepper spray
" smart" I nodded approvingly
" thanks " She smiled
" hey, yo back off!" Yelled Billy before zooming over and knocking the man to the ground
" HYPER SPEED CHECK"
" I'm sorry. Im so sorry" apologised Billy to the woman and the sobbing man on the floor " I thought you were the one screaming "
" She pepper sprayed him" I explained
" smart move" he nodded before picking the guy up " yeah, hey. Mr. Mugger guy. Give the old lady her purse back. "
" uhm I'm your age, and he didn't get a chance to take it because me and your friend here didn't let him take it" she said in an annoyed tone
" good , yeah ,good . You're really on top of this stuff" he praised " and thsg should teach you you old ladies.....regular aged ladies like yourself don't need protecting, right? So get woke, bro"
" im sorry" She sighed " who are you?"
" his name , is thundercrack" freddy walked over dramatically, I quickly held his forearm and pulled him a bit further from the untrustworthy criminal in Billy's unexperienced hands " hero to the people with all the powe and speed of lightning in one. "
" dude that sounds like a but thing " billy protested against the name 'thundercrack"
" uhmm....mister. philadelphia!"
" that's a cream cheese thing, dude!"
" power boy! Because he's got all the powers and sometimes pepper spray can't protect against evil" freddy decided
" power boy, do you ....know these children?" She asked
" like a tennis little bit. I don't really know..... yeah, he's like my manager and he's like my sidekick"
" I'm his manager" freddy spoke cockily, god he's cute.
" but power boys not gonna work , either, okay? So work on something else" the older instructed
" I think his ideas are creative" I huffed
The mugger pulled away from Billy a bit, obviously he pulled him closer until suddenly he went flying into a pile of trash bags
" electricity manipulation, hyper speed, super strength. Dude, you're stacked! You're almost as cool as superman. Almost" freddy said with nothing but pure excitement
Cool as superman? That's his idol, why can't I be as cool as superman? I have more powers than batson anyway. Maybe it's because they're not as flashy and dope as Billy's....I don't know , I just know I want freddys attention back on me.
The woman handed us money suddenly, which freddy happily took "I didn't see you. I don't know what just happened here. I don't want to know. Just don't hurt me." She panickingly began walking away, I facepalmed
" im not doing it for the money!" Billy Yelled after her
" thank you for your kind donation!" Freddy smiled widley
" if you need any help just look for the superhero who...still can't fly!" He said
" forget flying " I exclaimed as I looked through the stack of money " we just made 73 bucks!"
" 73 bucks?" He asked in shock while freddy giggled excitedly " come on! Hey wait a minute....I just got an idea..."
Well , I can see this going one of two directions. We split it, or, we buy alcohol with it. And I'm guessing it's the second one more than the first.
