Your POV

First day of work. I would never be late on this important day, so I ended up being one of the first people to show up at the venue. Josh showed me around the set, before he introduced me to a middle-aged woman with long, red hair and golden glasses. Her name was Sienna and she introduced herself to me as my new set-mum. Sienna brought me to a room, where I would meet my co-workers for the first time. There were three lines of tables in the room. Two stood right across from each other with 5 seats at each table. The other one stood horizontally to the other two with about 7 chairs. The friendly woman told me to take a seat at one of the smaller ones and I chose to take the last seat on the left line of table.

As I waited patiently for the room to fill, my mind drifted off. Memories of the night before played in my mind and I bit my lip to suppress a smile. It had been my first day in South Carolina. I had reached Charleston in the afternoon, had checked in the hotel and had decided to go out after taking a well needed nap. After walking around the town for a while, I had stopped at a bar for a drink. There, I had met him. He had been everything I liked in a man. Funny, open-minded, kind of a flirt, but still very respectful, friendly and a smile, that could melt hearts. Oh my god, his smile.

To be honest, if it hadn't been my first day in this new town, I had probably given him a real chance. But I had come to Charleston to start into a new chapter of my life. I would start my first real job as an actress and I wanted to put all of my time and energy into this project. I had sworn myself not to get distracted by any man and to focus on the important things. To protect myself from becoming weak, I had taken the situation as a challenge. I had made up stories of a life, that I had never lived, a job, that I wasn't going after and told him a name, that I hadn't been called for 10 years.

Flashback

"What's your name?", he asked with a friendly smile, twirling around the glass of beer he held in his left hand.

"Gioia.", I answered, making it sound more Italian, that I had intended to.

"Gioia. That sounds...", thinking of whatever language the name reminded him of, he squeezed his eyes together in a funny way.

"Italian.", I helped him with a chuckle and his bright eyes sparkled at me again, when he smiled.

"Right. So, you have Italian roots?", he asked interested and I nodded my head.

"My grandmother was Italian.", I replied, which wasn't even a lie. Nodding his head, he raised his eyebrows a little, before he smirked at me.

"Italian blood. You must be trouble."

I had been sure, that he was trouble. But I mean... a little bit of fun didn't hurt anyone, right? So, I had ended up taking him to my hotel room, where things had gotten messy. A good kind of messy. I mean, very good kind of messy. So good, that I had regretted my little game right away, knowing, I would never see him again. Damn it. So, the bad thing was, I would never see him again. The good thing was, I would never see him again. It probably was better like that, anyway. But a girl could still dream, right?

While my mind was stuck in the memories of the night before, I quickly crossed my legs to avoid the feeling of damping my panties and pulled my skirt further down. Very professional, Y/N, very professional. The sound of someone entering the room eventually pulled me out of my daydream.

I looked up to see a girl around my age walk up to me. Her dark curls framed her beautiful face, as she smiled at me brightly. I untangled my legs and stood up, reaching my hand out to introduce me. Instead of taking it, the girl pulled me into a hug.
