"You heard me. Love at first sight."
"Julie, t-that's absurd! I don't even think he knows my favourite animal yet!"
"Oh, come on, Frank. Even I picked up on that."
"What is it then?"
"Butterflies."
"oh."
"He listened to you ramble about them for almost thirty minutes."
Julie was helping me figure out why I fell for Eddie so fast. I thought the 'love at first sight' thing was silly until I really thought about it. I guess that hands-touching-while-picking-up-papers thing had something to do with it.
" I guess that is the case. But how do I tell him?"
"letters!"
"letters?"
"mhm!you could slip one into his bag when he's not looking."
"wouldn't it be pretty weird if I just confessed in one letter?"
"it would, so I say you should ask to be pen pals in the first letter! That way you could get to know him better through them."
"Julie, you're a genius!"
I hugged Julie tight.
