"MAKINO LOOK WHAT I GOT" I yell as I run into the bar that she runs "What is it Y/n?" she says while cleaning off the table "It's Luffy he has his very first bounty and it's pretty big 30k big" I say happily showing her the wanted poster and pretty much jumping with excitement "I know your happy Y/n but you have to calm down a little bit" Makino says sweat dropping but still smiling "We should celebrate this" I say smiling and somewhat ignoring Makino's previous statement "It seems the mountain bandits had the same idea in mind" Makino say laughing to her self as the mountain bandits slam through the door "COME ON LETS PARTY HARD TONIGHT"Dadan says fist bumping the air with both hands in excitement well everyone else just agrees with her making me smile even more then i already was "Let's get this party started" I say happily "Just try not to drink the place dry" Makino says smiling softly and grabbing a few cups. "PaSs Me ThE AlCoHol" Dadan says clearly drunk, I look at the clock and realize that its around 2 am "Hey Makino are you okay you've been working all night without a proper break?" I ask concerned for her "I'm fine Y/n just a bit tired that's all" she says smiling weakly "I can bring the mountain bandits home it's getting late and you need to get some rest Makino" I say smiling "Thank you Y/n that would be great but I don't want you to get hurt outside this late" she says worried "I incest Makino plus I have been in that forest hundreds of times I of all people won't get hurt" I say "As long as you don't get hurt" Makino says knowing that I'll stay out of trouble in the forest "GUYS HOME TIME MAKINO HAS TO PACK UP" I yell as the mountain bandits frown and complain "Don't worry Makino i'll help clean up when i get back just go get some rest" I says to her before following the mountain bandits out the bar for the night

As I walked back into the bar I noticed Makino sleeping on the bar stool with her head resting on the bar table "Makino?" I say poking her softly. She shifts but doesn't wake up so I decide to clean up the huge mess left behind by the mountain bandits. I never noticed before but Makino is more of a mother to me than my real mother. I mean I grew up around her and she bought all my stuff. She also taught me how to cook and feed me when I was hungry. I don't even remember the last time I saw my mother. I think I was 15 yrs old or so and god is that nice. "Y/n your back" Makino says happily but tired "Yea you were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you up just yet" I say smiling "Do you need help cleaning up it's a pretty big mess" Makino asks getting up to grab the broom "Nope I should be fine" I say blocking her way to the broom "Alright if you say so" Makino says sighing but smiling at the same time "You should take tomorrow off you've been working your butt off lately" I say "Are you sure Y/n, It isn't easy running the bar alone" Makino says worried "Yes Makino you need a break and fast" I say pushing her to her door "go home now and get some sleep" I say crossing my arms and watching her wave before walking away

While I walked to the bar i started to hear pirates and not just any pirates but the red hair pirates there probably here to celebrate Luffy's bounty. As soon as I walked inside I instantly notice their captain and to no surprise he's the loudest of them all "Y/N YOUR HERE" he yells while laughing "I work here dimwit" I say annoyed "That's no way to treat your customer now is it Y/n" Shanks says smiling "Makino isn't coming to day so I can be as rude as I want Shanks" I say glaring at the man with a evil smirk "Ouch not even gonna try to be nice" Shanks says frowning "I don't get why you're so surprised right now" I say ignoring him almost completely as he mumbles about something "Hey y/n can you pass me the booze up there" Shanks says while smiling and pointing to the very top shelf "Asshole" I mumble "Make that 3" he says, so I jump and take down 2 bottles then I jump once more to get the last bottle "Here you go s h a n k s" I say smiling sarcastically "Thanks" Shanks says while smiling. A few very long hours later I get ready to close the bar while, the red-haired pirates pack up to leave taking whatever's left of the alcohol in the bar. Since Makino isn't here I have to help them move everything and make sure they pay this time around. "Is this all" I say looking at the barrels of alcohol in front of the ship "Yup" Shanks says weirdly proud of himself "Good because that's all we have left inside" I say getting ready to leave "Wait I have an offer for you" Shanks says as I walk away "Nope my work here is done" I says walking faster "Please its important" he says following me "What is it dimwit" I say stopping in front of the bar "I want you to join my crew" he say in a serious tone of voice "Why the hell would I do that" I say crossing my arms "Your strength is like no other not to mention your crazy fast why would you put it to waste" Shank says "I didn't join Luffy so why would I join you" I say in a firm tone of voice "I'll be back you should put some more thought into it if you do change your mind here's a vivir card" he says handing me a piece of paper than walking back to his ship. The next day I had to explain to Makino that the red haired pirates came and drank everything but for some reason I just couldn't bring myself to tell her that Shanks asked me to join his crew but it doesn't matter because i don't planning on joining him
