Phone ringing

Me(pick up): who's this ?

Rocker: Hey Nix it's Rocker we need your help with something

Me(sigh): what is it ?

Rocker: better not to talk about it over the phone when can you be at S.W.A.T headquarters?

Me: few hours tops see you then

I hang up and look at Owen who's playing with Ember I smile and walk up to him.

Me: I gotta go

Owen: what is it love ?

Me: an old friend he's a SWAT officer need my help with something down in LA

Owen(kiss my head): alright be careful

Me(smile): always (kiss Ember head) mommy is gonna be back soon baby

I walk to Ethan crib and kiss his head and head out.

I get off my bike at SWAT headquarters and walk in looking for Rocker.

Rocker(walk up to me): Phoenix O'Conner long time no see

Me(chuckles): oh yeah it has been a whole lot of things changed in six years

Rocker(chuckles): true alright follow me you know your old friend Richter

Me(following him): yeah what about him ?

Rocker: he got one of our own we need your help getting him back one thing is for sure we had no chance of getting him with the car he had

Me(as we walk inside the place with the others): yeah you never had a chance with that car he had the grey Mercedes right ? It's customized to make 840- horsepower not really street legal

Hondo: how do you know that ?

Me(smirk): because I'm the one who customized it

Rocker: everyone meet Phoenix O'Conner she's one of the only person who has info on Richter who might be able to help from inside without blowing Street cover Nix meet the 20 and 50 squad Mumford is my team leader and you got Hondo who's 20 squad team leader and you have Captain Cortez

Me: alright whatcha got for now ?

Hondo: the gunmen that interrupted the deal were Rosemead Mafia part of the Chinese crime syndicate. Best guess is Richter was selling wheels to them before Street showed and squeezed them out.

Cortez: Mumford, coordinate with Gang Task Force get me the Rosemead leader

Mumford: I'm also gonna find out who tipped them off and if they know where Richter's hiding. Whatever it takes to get our man back. (Leaving with his team) Come on

Cortez: we've also send units to look for the crew Street was with when they killed the trucker, see how they tie in

Hondo: He launders money through legit businesses so we try and track him through those he moves a lot of stolen cars if he held onto any we might find him that way

Me(shake my head): that would surprise me but it's worth a shot

Cortez: SIS is making a list of vehicles they think he's had his hands on

Chris: So, why aren't we wide with this ? Every cop in the city looking for him

Me: He's cover is holding. You go wide, it only takes one cop in Richter's back pocket to expose your friend

Deacon: There are plenty of whispers about his connection to the police

Me(sigh): I can confirm that it's not just whispers he has connection to the police

Cortez: they say we're the best. Time to prove it

Me: I'll try to find some things myself can I use your equipment?

Cortez: Sure

Me(smirk): even if it's not 100% legal ?

Cortez: anything to get Street out of there safely

Me: sweet ! I'll get started right away then

I got started trying to find Richter into the dark-web until I saw Ren the Rosemead leader pass me in cuffs

Me(chuckles): guys are shut to stay out of sight (as my phone start to ring) why not you Richter ? (Pick up) what's up Deck ?

Deckard: not much just checking if you needed help with anything

Me(smirk): Owen told you didn't he ?

Deckard(chuckles): yeah he did

Me(chuckles): don't worry tell him I'll be back in the morning this is gonna be a piece of cake gotta go imma try to let them let me talk to Ren

Deckard: Rosemead leader ?

Me(smirk): yup I'm sure the second he'll see me he's gonna spill the tea

Deckard(chuckles): probably I mean you're pretty god damn scary when you want to

Me(chuckles): awww thanks anyway talk to you later Deck

Deckard(hang up): talk later Nix stay safe

I hang up and walk over the interrogation room and into the other side of the one way window calling them with the phone.

Hondo(pick up the phone): yeah ?

Me: let me in he'll spill the second he sees me I scare the hell out of him since I beat his ass

Hondo(hang up and look at Ren): someone wanna talk to you

I get to the door as Hondo open it to reveal me I smirk as Ren face changes I walk into the room and look at him.

Me: you better tell them what they want to know if you don't want a repeat of last time Ren

Ren(look at Hondo): off the record? This ebony-ivory couple comes to me this morning saying they source for Richter but they'd rather do business with me. I tell 'em to get lost but then they say Richter's planning to cut me out. Say he's dealing with some new guy. Cooper.

Hondo: okay so what's the deal ? You take Richter and the newbie out and they start sourcing cars for you ?

Ren: I thought they were full of it, but the details tracked so...

Mumford: tracked ? How ?

Ren: Same MO and same part of town as the deals I made with Richter. Santa Fe Springs, Pico Rivera

Hondo: Richter got a place out there ?

Ren: he got a spot he call the Templo but no one's seen it (look at me) or if they do they never make it back to talk about it...

Me: yeah I heard it of it and that gave me an idea
