It was one hell of a night. After what happened that day, Cait decided to skipped classes, lunch and dinner. She was ashamed of what happened and kapag iniisip niya ito para siyang masusuka at gusto na lang mgpalamon sa lupa.

She knew that the minute she walked inside the cafeteria for breakfast the next day, the stares she receives had gotten worse. The whispers died down and soon came back the minute she sat on the table with her friends who patted her back for encouragement. She just knew that they talking about her.

Nilibot niya ang paningin nya sa paligid at nakita nya ang mga friends ni Bea sa kabilang table. Nakaramdam siya ng ginhawa ng makitang wala doon si Bea. Pero bakit parang nakaramdam siya ng pangungulila. A little relieved and afraid that the girl did gave up on her already.

She huffed angrily, tossing a few food on her tray before realizing that Ysa and Bel was looking at her strangely.

"What?" inosenteng sabi nya sa mga kaibigan, as if trying to tell them she knew already and she doesn't need it to be slapped on her face again.

"Seriously, Cait. That was the stupid but most sweetest confession ever!" Bel giggled, her black rimmed glassess settled at the tip of her nose. Si Ysa naman ay tango lamang ang pagtugon sa pagsang-ayon sa sinabi ng kaibigan.

"Please, that was the most embarrassing moment of my life." Cait said while hiding her face into her two palms.

"I agree as well but then, as much as I am sympathizing at you but I feel so giddy." Ysa paused cutely. "But I think you just gave the girl the sweetest answer. She was smiling like she won the lottery yesterday, you know."

Cait's head whipped and glared at her. "I did not intend to answer her. It was actually the exact opposite."

"Oh, trust me! It didn't sound like one." Ysa added before continuing to eat. Signaling Bel to continue the discussion.

"Actually, naintindihan ka namin sa biglaang outburst mo.." Bel paused to think. "That you were totally in love with her. However, she seemed to far fetched.. What do you call this... you think you are so out of her league that there is no single chance that she'll fell in love with you."

Cait pouted, they were Bel and Ysa that she was talking to. Denying will be non-negotiable.

"Whatever. I still stand by what I said. Me and her is a big No. It won't happen." She stood, taking her bags with her. "I'll be going. Kailangan ko pang mag-aral sa quiz bukas. See you at one!" She walked away missing the smirk on her friend's faces.

She was scribbling furiously on her notebook, taking the important notes that she might need on her oral quiz when the same white familiar sneakers came into view. Cait felt her hands trembled as she avoided herself not to look up to acknowledge her. They stayed in silence, her pretending that she's not there and her still trying to look for words to say to her.

"Can I sit here?" She finally asked, flopping down on the grass and crossing her legs.

Cait looked up for a bit and her cheeks flushed red seeing her smile sweetly at her. "You're already sitting, why ask?" She tried to say the words straighter and colder but the trembling on it was so evident. Bea could only chuckle finding it a little too cute.

"I.. sorry about yesterday. I mean... I made you.." Bea tried to get her into coversation but stopped when Cait managed to look up again.

"WE ARE NOT GOING TO START THIS CONVERSATION." Cait hissed, practically turning red from anger but mostly from embarassment of what happened. Bea's wide eyes made her soften a bit.

"Let's just forget about it, ok? I'm here because I need to study. I don't want to be rude but I already missed a few classes so if you are not here to study please..please let me be."

Bea then smiled again. Finding a little relief that the girl was not actually shouting or chasing her away. She just nodded quietly and opened her own book to study. Perhaps, it was the right time as well to catch up from all the lessons she missed.

A few hours had gone past with them just sitting there and studying, Bea wasn't sure how long they have been there however she was sure that her legs and butt were starting to get numb.

She squirmed a bit looking uncomfortable. She was stretching a bit pinching her legs when Cait looked up at her curiously.

"What are you doing?" Cait asked raising a brow.

She just smiled at her. "Nothing"

She hummed in response and started to pick up her things up before wobbly standing up. She was on the verge of losing a step when Bea held her up. The feel of her strong arm linked against her waist made her flushed deep red.

"Thanks" She pulled herself away and brushing the dried grass off her skirt. "I... need to go."

"Ahmm..ok" she nodded and watch her careful steps.

"Hey" Bea called back, making her span around. Her eyes wide with anticipation.

"How about a cup of coffee later, Cait?" she asked expectantly.

Cait stared a bit before shaking her head. "I don't drink coffee, Bea. But, thanks anyway." she gestured her head for a single nod before walking away again.

Bea felt the need to cursed herself after she's out of her sight. "Well atleast she's not shouting anymore." Bea grinned before skipping towards the school for her next class. Damn, she needed to talk to her History Professor just because she decided to skip her class a few hours ago.
