"What the hell are you doing here?" James shouted, jabbing his wand into Regulus' neck. "What? Come to kill your brother or something?" He jabbed his wand a little more as Regulus stared at him.

"No! I-" Regulus couldn't think of what to possibly say at that moment. There were too many things he could say. He looked past James to Sirius who seemed just as stunned. "Sirius, help me here!?"

Sirius stared at the two in front of them for a moment, a small smirk formed on his face as he couldn't help but laugh.

"Really!?" Regulus yelled at him.

"I don't know, I kinda wanna see where this goes." Sirius laughed.

James looked back at him even more confused than before as he glanced between Sirius who was laughing and Remus who was rubbing his forehead.

"James, put him down, he's fine." Remus said exasperated again.

"How the hell would you know that, Moony?" James shot back at him, his grasp still firmly on Regulus' shoulder.

Sirius, having finally had his fun, looked at James.

"No, Prongs, really. He's fine." Sirius said, nodding his head.

James looked back to Regulus who gave him a look like he was asking to be let go again. He loosened his grip on his shoulder and backed up, still firmly holding his wand by his side. He looked between everyone again, still confused and lost at the entire ordeal.

"Can someone explain to me what the hell is going on?" James demanded. "I thought you hadn't spoken to Regulus in years! I thought you hated each other! I thought you were a-"

"Death Eater?" Regulus said, finishing his sentence for him.

James' eyes flickered for a second as he looked down.

"I was. Not that I wanted to be..." Regulus said. "But I can assure you, all of you, I'm definitely not now."

Sirius suddenly looked at Regulus as he furrowed his brow at him.

"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked.

Regulus glanced between James, Sirius, and Remus who were all staring at him with equally confused and concerned stares.

"They know... He knows about me... They were going to kill me, I thought I already was dead for a bit... Sirius..." Regulus stared at his brother, starting to feel all of the pain slowly creep back into his body. "They know... and they want me dead."

Sirius' expression hardened as his eyes moved away from Regulus. His thoughts had clearly taken over as his expression seemed to dance between anger, confusion, and deep thought.

"How?" He finally asked as he looked up at Regulus.

Regulus sighed as his eyes closed and his head fell back. He felt his heart drop again. He hadn't said a word about Peter before, he hadn't told them a single thing yet. Peter had barely done anything to really worry him up until now, but he was starting to realize that maybe Peter knew a whole lot more than he had let on. If Peter had exposed him to the Death Eaters, then all bets were off, it was time for them to know who their friend truly was.

He opened his eyes again and looked back at Sirius with tired eyes.

"Peter."

All of the emotions that had been moving around through Sirius' eyes, trying to decide how he felt, finally fell on just one. Anger. He shook his head in disbelief as he turned away from Regulus. Regulus glanced at the others again and caught James looking over Remus for a moment before his own eyes fell back to the floor and he too shook his head.
