"Come on sweetheart." Neymar said and grabbed me to his arms.
Neymar knocked in the door.
"Do they know we're coming?" I asked
"Yes of course."
A woman opened the door, which I suppose it's Neymar's mother.
"Hey mama." Neymar said and hugged her "This is my girlfriend, Marlene."
"Hey filho, nice to meet you Marlene!" She smiled "come on in."
"Nice to meet you too." I said and hugged her
Now we're walking through the corridor and another woman pops. Huh?
"NEYYY!" She shouted
"RAFOO!" Neymar shouted back "this is my girlfriend, Marlene."
"Oohh the one you told me about? Hello Marlene, I am Rafaella, Neymar's sister."
"Hi Rafaello." I messed her name up
They laughed.
"Rafaella lmao." Neymar said
"Oh sorry!" I said and hugged her
"Where's dad?" Neymar asked Rafaella
"He'll be here in a minute. Choosing what to wear." Nadine (Neymar's mother) laughed.
After 4 minutes, Neymar Senior came down stairs.
"Hello filho." He greeted Neymar
"Hi papa. This is Marlene, my girlfriend." He introduced me
"Hello filha." He greeted me
"Hello! Nice to meet you." I said
TIME SKIP
We were now at the dinner table. Nadine made us some Feijoada (Brazilian food) and some Bolinho de Bacalhau (also Brazilian food).
We were eating and also talking.
"So Marlene, where are you from?" Neymar Sr asked me
"I am from France. My family lived there for a long time, but then my parents decided to move to Germany. Me and my brother still live in France tho." I replied
"Oh? What's your last name?" He asked me
"Marlene Messi. You may know me from Lionel Messi." I laughed
His eyes went wide.
"What?" He looked shocked
"What's wrong papa?" Neymar asked him
"Her parents- I know them." He said still looking shocked
"Really? How?" I asked
"I know them as bad persons." He said getting a bit mad
"What did they do?" Nadine asked
"They uhm. Tentaram sequestrar Rafaella quando ela era mais jovem e a desculpa deles foi "estamos com pouco dinheiro", o que significa que eles tentaram vender meu filha por seu dinheiro estúpido." Neymar Sr replied
The whole family looked shocked. Their eyes went wide while looking at me.
"What's wrong?" I asked very worried
"Your parents, they-" Rafaella started
"Oh yeah I know. I'm not sure what they did to you guys but I know they're bad people and I don't talk to them. I am nothing like them and I'm so sorry for whatever they did." I said
"They tried to kidnap Rafaella." Nadine said coldly
"I'm so sorry. I don't even talk to them. They're such bad influencers." I said feeling bad
Neymar Sr left the table.
"Come on papa." Ney shouted at him. "It was a long time."
"Tire essa cadela da minha casa agora." Neymar Sr shouted
Neymar went after him and I could hear them shouting. I felt like they didn't want me there.
"I'm leaving. Thank you for the dinner." I said and left.
I called a taxi and I wanted to fly back to Paris but unfortunately I couldn't. I went back to the hotel and waited.
Wait. Was this the reason Leo told me to not go? Does he know something that I don't?
I am fucking tired of people knowing me because of my parents. They are bad people, I am not.
Neymar was calling me on my phone. I didn't pick up but I saw 30 missed calls from Leo. If only I listened to him.
