rules
i. the main rule really is to have fun
with your characters! give them crazy backstories, make them diverse in any way, shape or form. (please do) i'm not accepting any white/blonde characters who think their the shit. that stereotype drives me nuts. PLEASE try to make your character have some sort of depth. ALSO don't forget MALES. they exist!
ii. the main characters are going to be around 15-16 years old so i would prefer it if you chose actors over the age of 18. but please please please make them look their age. if you give me someone like camila mendes or chase stokes i will just turn you down because they do not look like they could play sophmores - juniors in highschool.
iii. the main set of characters are 8 teens but you can apply with patients too. i may be looking at around 4 or 5 main patients. these patients can be any age so if you really & truly want to use some kj apa type dude, apply for a patient. i do not accept any problematic celebrities but please apply with people who actually ACT. i can't see vinnie hacker or jungkook being chased by a ghost 😭😭 (i'm being serious). this is supposed to be an action/paranormal fiction.
iv. love isn't really the main focus of this novel BUT there can be a little bit of romance just to spice this up so if you want to make your character a romantic, please do. but do mind, not everyone can have a love interest.
v. lastly, please be kind if your character doesn't end up being chosen, don't be a bitch about it. i have 2 more open apply fics on my page & you can feel free to apply to any one of them. your password is your favorite disguise of count olaf in asoue (a series of unfortunate events). if you've never watched the movie, series, or read the books, just tell me your favorite disney live-action remake! (this is a fun one bc i just watched the little mermaid:)
