Well, that was rude. Rodriguez didn't even stop to say hello. Yet he looked desperate as if he needed his gun right at that second. So I rang the doorbell again. This time he opened it, but I couldn't see his entire body like he was hiding something.

"Hey, Sam, come on in," He gestured, and I heard him push something away, and when I came in, Daniel, Tod, and Ruth were there. They were all standing in a line. Rodriguez kept a good eye on them, all wearing black, including Rodriguez.

"Oh, I wasn't expecting you here," I said.

"Wasn't expecting you here, either, Sam," Ruth said.

               "So... what's going on–"

"We were just having a little party," Rodriguez interrupted. "Maybe you could join if there weren't so many cockroaches in your house."

"What kind of party is this, where everyone dresses in black and slam doors on their girlfriends' faces?"

               "Sorry about that," Rodriguez muttered.

"If it is, I want nothing to do with it," I finished and left.

"We like your necklace," Daniel said.

"I like it, too," Rodriguez said.

"Yeah, I also really like it," I said sarcastically and left, though I didn't necessarily leave. Yes, I walked out the door, but I wanted to see what my spy was doing now. And what did Rodriguez mean when he said, "Maybe you could join if there weren't so many cockroaches in your house"?
