"If you moved the stables here, the horses would have free reign of the fields."

Lohar glanced down at the parchment in his hands as the sun cascaded down around us. My deep emerald gown billowed around me, the jewels on the corset glistening with each movement. Raven hair pulled back into a low braided bun curtesy of aeryn. After the war she had agreed, well begged to come back to be my lady in waiting. I couldn't not agree. I had undoubtedly missed her and with her presence she helped lift the weight of the crown somewhat.

"Indeed. Freya enjoys her freedom and being locked away in the courtyard stables irritates her to no end."

I smiled at the thought of her running free with her foal. She was an amazing mother, attentive and protective. She didn't let a single person get too close to her baby, aside from me of course not even ajax was allowed to get within breathing distance, infact he is still at the volturis castle. He was Caius's horse therefore I had no right to take him.

Lohar scribbled a few words down onto the parchment before his eyes found mine.

"Very well your grace. I will have the guard start work right away."

He bowed softly and began to walk away. I furrowed my brow as an idea came into my head.

"lohar?"

He stopped in his tracks.

"Yes, your grace?"

I kept my eyes Infront of me. Watching as the few clouds in the cerulean sky merge together in a harmonious waltz. The blazing sun creating a shimmering sparkle to appear on my skin.

"Employ the local villagers. Only the strong and capable but pay them well, ensure they are given immunity they will not become dinner while working under my roof."

Lohar's head tilted to the side.

"May I ask your grace why?"

He questioned.

"The lion does not concern himself with the matters of sheep... the lioness will enchant the sheep to aid her."

I muttered. Eyes still focused on the dancing sky above.

"Very well your grace. I will personally see to it."

He nodded once before leaving again.

I remained at my spot on the balcony that overlooked the vast fields of my castle. It was all very simple. It's been less than a week since I last saw Caius and told him what had truly happened to didyme. It wasn't my intention, but I knew my husband. This kind of betrayal would crush him however he would remain steadfast. Unmoving as he waited for the opportunity. He was many things, stern, cold, impulsive and ignorant yet he had the ability on certain occasions to think deeply about the outcome of his fury. I was certain this was the case, I had lohar place several spies within the volturi castle walls, allowing me to be everywhere all at once. So far these 'little birds' as he calls them have only reported that Caius is a little more temperamental than usual but that they haven't so much as heard the name didyme be spoken.
