Do I have to make a new book?
No. But if your new book or part of an existing short story collection, but it has to be newly written for this contest.
Does it have to be 3000 words?
Your lower limit range is 1000 words, and your Upper Maximum limit is 2500 words.
Can I do a co-written story with someone?
Yes, you can!
Can I enter more than one entry?
Yes, but only one entry can win.
What about Mature? Are LGBTQ+ characters allowed?
Of course! We are celebrating pride month! All LGBTQ+ characters and stories are allowed if they meet Wattpad's Content Guidelines. Stories that do not meet this won't be accepted.
How will our entries be judged?
Stories are judged on various factors, such as writing quality, originality, and relation to the chosen prompt. Ensure you are proofreading your work before submitting!
