04. King of History

After delaying the search for the Sagara oil field, of course it continued to be delayed.

Some of the Ishigami villagers came to Volkov village to connect from long parted ancestral relatives. The acceptance was quite immediate and a happy occasion that set the entire village having a big banquet.

Senku also brought more science in the village for the purpose of modernisation and convenience like light bulbs and furnace. He didn't have much problem with the primitive ways of this place, it also had alternative touch of science.

It is very hygienic in consideration of the village chief and his family. The ground was cemented with powdered sedimentary rocks, the side were potted with medicinal herbs and some weeds that repels mosquitoes as well as insects like fly.

They have the concept of water pipes using bamboo connecting from the river. Making the water system in the wilderness easier and people won't have to go back and fort just to fetch jar.

There is also the designed wooden cable cars for easily transporting heavy goods up in the tree houses, bringing forth the concept of pulley. All of these are progress thought out by the generations of Cosmos Volkov.

Both villages shared each other's way and it was almost one in the same. They did came from the same kin, had the same upbringing at first.

While Ishigami village classified their status in their knots, Volkov classified themselves with the color of stones attached to their bodies, but most of them put it in their ears as accessories.

It could be said that Volkov is well maintained. But with risks. Most village hunters dies because of wild animals. So when faced with this uncharted events, hunters goes to the most knowledgeable person in the village to consult what they saw. Cosmos will then try to depict the image from the hundred tales and will have the illustrators have them drawn.

Also, what amazed the Ishigami village was their way of hunting. Most of them have partners called 'hunting dogs'. These dogs are big ones, the size of adult wolves, they are quite a peaceful characters but with proud prowess. Their tail wags from left to right, with chins high up and chest out like a hailed hero.

Even the villagers of Volkov thinks that hunting dogs are really amazing partners. They have been cultivated for years and knows how to find and assist their humans to capture preys.

Ishigami village also shared the recent herding of animals. With breeding and domesticating goats and pigs, they were able to produce more food. This idea too the interest of the Volkov village and we're happily sharing places for hunting grounds.

"Ignorance and knowledge is not too far apart. You gained knowledge from what you will know and ignorance because you're just about to know it." Cosmos Volkov 80th once quoted this in his entry.

This world is vast and filled of the unknown. If only possible to be as brave as Cosmos XIV who braved the seas towards to fulfill Byakuya's last wish. Or to Cosmos XXVI who held his belief and hardened his hard and left the home he loved dearly with others who had been treated unfairly in the Ishigami Village that time, exploring the wilderness and finally established their new home.

The Cosmos Volkov is a name that lived but never bloomed. They are talents that only extended to that of what he can do without proper experience in the outside world. He is locked in an invisible restriction. The restriction called a deadly illness.

But now, that is about to change.

Because Cosmos Volkov 183rd and his heir Cosmos Volkov 184th, thawed the never ending curse passed into the Volkov family by the help they never thought would truly exist.
