Sams POV

Its quite a normal day: Cat,my roommate,is babysitting two 7 year old boys while I'm laying on the sofa watching Toilet Wars

"Sam! I need help with the-" Cat begins but then I hear a loud CRASH and the kids crying. I quickly rush over to see a plate broken on the floor, one of the kids is crying while the others stood there in shock.

I rush over to the crying child and hug him, pulling him closer to me
"Its okay, its okay little one" I whisper and hug him. He clings onto me
"Your okay, its okay" I gently get the crying kid away from the broken plate and Cat gets the other child away from it.

"Im sorry! I didnt mean too! I'm
so sorry!"He sobs
"no no no,you dont have to apologise, its okay, your okay" I comfort.Usually I dont comfort the children and instead I yell at them but this specific child is a sensitive, traumatised submissive and I know to be gentle with him

"Your safe,I wont hurt you,its okay. It was a accident"I comfort as he sobs
"Im so,so sorry!" He sobs
"Your a child, thats what kids do. You made a mistake. If kids didnt make mistakes, humans would be extinct by now. I promise its okay" I comfort

"Sam...I've never seen you like that before.." Cat tells me when the (adoptive) parents have came to collect the kids.
"Like what?"I ask
"Nice...you didnt yell at him..you comforted him" Cat murmurs.
"Whatever" I respond and walk to my room. I lay down in bed and fall asleep
