in recent days, Felicity Moon was considered a mess.

how could she not be? her life was the definition of a shit show right now (in her words). first, as soon as she'd stepped down those teeny steps of kings cross station, a fever had invaded her body. second, her parents had been arguing since the moment she'd arrived home, not helping her feverish state. the fights went on for days, so bad that her little sister had seeked refuge in her room away from the noise (Merlin, Felicity was waiting for the day they would announce their divorce). and thirdly, the love of her life- her now ex- had decided to throw their two year relationship down the Astronomy tower.

Oliver Wood and Felicity Moon were supposed to be forever. they were supposed to graduate, succeed in their chosen careers, get married, have children, and live a long happy life (exactly in that order). Felicity thought they were inseparable, until he decided to cut it off by dumping her in the middle of summer holidays over a damn owl— who even does that?! all to focus on bloody quidditch!!

so to conclude, yes, Felicity was a mess. a big, ugly crying mess who couldn't even say his name without bursting into tears. even lily had gotten sick of her crying, to the point that she'd contemplated if using magic to make her shut up because getting expelled was better than continuing to live with the blubbering mess that had replaced her older sister. now with the school year around the corner, Felicity decided the best way to get over him was to avoid him until he rode that train home at the end of the year and never came back.

She thought it was a great idea— Lily not so much. Lily Moon was not going to let her sister mope for the rest of the year, so she proposed an idea: let Oliver Wood see what he was missing.

with the help of her sister and a newfound confidence, Felicity felt more refreshed than she had in months. Oliver Wood damn well did not deserve her tears, not one bit. she felt good, so good that she could shout it from the rooftops. Felicity Moon was about to show Oliver that she was worth anyones time. and with that, the one thing she forgot was that a murderer was currently on the loose— not that it had anything to do with her of course.

— CREDITS
I obviously do not own the Harry Potter series, and give full credit to Rowling (even tho I do not share or support her views and opinions) The storyline and Lily herself were created by HAYDEN So I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to check out their plot shop Lover!
