so we shot ole dude and obviously the cops came which means I'm in some shit now cause we got cameras around this motherfucker.

"sir we are have to arrest you." He said

Well duh Robert...

"I was just protecting her." I said with a confused face

"I'm sorry." He said hand cuffing me.

"no no no." Karma screamed while cops was holding her back.

she got loose from the cops and ran to the car.

"He doesn't deserve to go." She said putting her hands on the window.

"I'm okay." I mouthed

they soon pulled off and the last thing I saw was Karmas teary eyes.

4:45 AM

I've been sitting in this damn police station for almost 3 hours.

"hey Johnson take him around back." A white officer said to an black officer .

He grabbed me and we started walking down some stairs.

"what you do son?" He asked as we walked.

"My girl's ex man hit her so I shot him." I said

"why was he there in the first place? Especially at this time of night." He said confused

"He came to apologize for a miscarriage she had, and for cheating."I said shaking my head

"You must love her if it gets you down here.. better hope she love you the same." He said opening the cell and letting me in.

I sat down and watched him lock it.

"you gotta court case for how much the bail is on the 4th afternoon at 12.. I would probably call someone." He said before walking away.

I laid my head on the brick wall and thought about how imma get myself out of this.

Karma the first girl I'm going to jail for.. I don't think I love her.. but this kinda shows I do..

I only get one call..

"We will see in the morning." I said huffing laying down.

I went to my pops house and ran straight to my room and opened my safe.

"1 mill should be enough."I said shrugging.

"Amour?" My daddy yelled from downstairs.

"yes?" I said grabbing the money in the duffel bags,
running out my room.

"what have you done?" He said folding his arms

"I'll handle it." I said walking past him and closing the door.

I hope he okay in there.

I popped the truck with my keys and put the duffel bags in the trunk.

Then I put the directions to the police station.

"Hey fellas we gotta newbie in Jamie's cell." A old white man yelled laughing.

I need to get the hell up out of here..

"aye officer." I said tapping the gate

"I want to make my call now."I said and the white man laughed

"Better shut up for I pluck all them white hairs." I said bucking.

"alright yall." The officer said unlocking my cell.

We walked to the cell phones and he took my handcuffs off.

"3 minutes, one call." He said and I nodded.

I started dialing karmas number, and it immediately picked up.

"Jaiden- " I don't got so long love." I said

"what is it ?" She said sounding like she was in a car.

"I gotta court case at 12 on the 4th, be there alright." I said checking the time.

"alright I'll be there." She said and I hung up.

"thank you man." I said putting my hands behind my back.

"No problem, your wife on the way?" He asked causing me to chuckle.

"soon to be wife." I said and he nodded.

"so why you do what you did if you bout to have a wife?" He asked

"I was protecting her." I said

"It should be a shame to go to jail for protecting your lady." He said smacking his lips making me nod.

As we walked back to my cell I noticed someone familiar.

"Long time no see Wade." He said laughing.
