Chapter 1| 11th Birthday!

Clara Lupin-Black was under the covers when suddenly her covers were whipped off her warm body. Daddy put it back! She grumbled she was too tired for his shenanigans she then sat up and rubbed her eyes. Happy birthday pup. He then kissed her forehead

Now get up I made chocolate chip pancakes for you. He said grinning widely at her daughter. Her eyes widened at chocolate chips she quickly hopped out of bed and walked downstairs her nose smelling the delicious chocolate chips and hot chocolate. She ran as fast as she can and hopped on the stool.

I'm starving! She grumbled and wolfed down 10 pieces of pancakes Clara Lupin-Black was truly hungry. After she wolfed down those pancakes her father stood there shocked and shakes his head before laughing. What is it? She said drinking her hot chocolate making sure to eat all the marshmallows. Nothing pup didn't know you were that hungry. He smiled warmly the full moon was yesterday and she was back up before he could say quidditch. After she ate she wiped her mouth wiped her mouth with her sleeve.

Then a white snowy owl flew down handing her a letter. Sweet! She said before opening it it was addressed to her it must be her hogwarts letter. She then opened it and read

Dear Ms. Lupin-Black,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

UNIFORM

First-year students will require:

1.Three sets of plain work robes (black)

2.One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear

3.One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)

4.One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)

Please note that all pupils' clothes should carry name tags.

1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2)

1 set glass or crystal phials

1 telescope

1 set brass scales

Students may also bring an owl OR a cat OR a toad.

PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICKS

Awesome! She grinned after reading her letter they must go to Diagon Alley today! Daddy can we go to diagon alley today? She asked her father with puppy dog eyes she saw in his eyes flicker with emotions till it was clearly shown a yes in his eyes. He then nodded she jumped up and down and grinned.

After she asked her dad she went up and quickly got dressed in one of his crème colored sweaters it was till her knees she put a messy bun and her glasses on.

He found it adorable

They then went into the fire place and said Diagon Alley! They then arrived in no less than a second they stepped out of the green flames and walked out. She had access to the Black vault so they could easily get money. They first got her robes, then her wand and cauldron with the pewter. She chuckled at pewter

They then got all her books they were heavy. Dad can you hold them please? She asked him he was already holding her robes her cauldron but he quickly got it from her he was balancing like a monk!

When they went back home his joints ached and stretched for a bit. She then noticed his daughter lying down on the couch completely out. He grabbed a blanket and lay it over her. He then started thinking as she pictured her she had Sirius grey eyes he could get lost in them for hours he still loved the man. They were married illegally but he still wore the same ring he gave him. He remembered when he would just vist Lily and James cooing at baby Harry with Sirius. He missed them all his body was wracked with sobs as he was brought down to the floor.

She woke up quickly by the sounds she turned to her father he was sobbing hard her heart broke to see it her father was always cheerful and even on her grumpiest day he would make her happy. He didn't notice that two slender arms wrapped around his chest pulling him close to her. They had each other and that was okay for now
