8: Truth

Jane's POV

"I- I did! I just did, I said you were joking" Janella looked panicked by what I said and took a step back.

"Cute nila oh, nakaka selos" An employee whispered from afar which I heard.

I smirked, "The employees are watching us, I dont think you would want to cause a scene?" I whispered and didnt stop walking towards her.

I didnt know what over came me, I just wanted to get closer to her.

She looks beautiful in the dress, something changed.
Something about her makes me want to stop being enemies.

Maybe even wish this wedding was real.

Oh my god Jane what the hell are you saying to yourself? Snap out of it!

"Lets just hug" I whispered and pulled her in for a hug. Wrapping my arms around her waist while she had her arms wrapped around my shoulders.

"I really cant wait for this contract to be over" She whispered.

Contract, right.

"Yes, me too" I lied.

Now that Ive seen Janella I cant get things straight.

I talk about her without even realising it, like with Julia. I think about her without even realising it either.

But I hope im just confused because we only just met again.

"Are they done looking?" Janella asked.
"What?" I asked because my mind was far off of what was happening.
"Are the employees done watching us?!" She whispered.

"O-oh, oo" I said and she let go of me.

"Lets just try on a few more dresses, find the right one and get out of here" She said, I nodded.

Timeskip

"So where are you going now? What are your plans for the afternoon?" I asked Janella as we were walking at the parking lot towards our car after exiting the shop.

"Why do you ask?" She asked back.
"Because Im curious" I replied.

"Well im probably going to practice my lines for the movie im casted in..what about you?" She asked.
I smiled.

"Well nothing much, take pictures maybe-"

"Pictures, right, my fianceé is a photographer" She said.

I widened my eyes, did she really just say that?

She looked at me realizing what she said.
"Dont take that seriously, it slipped out of my mouth" She said.

"Slipped out of your mouth or not you still said it" I smiled.

"Whatever Jane, anyways, goodbye" She said as we stopped walking since we reached our cars.

"Goodbye" I said and stared at her walking to get inside her car.

"Arent you going to get in your car?" She shouted from inside her car while rolling down her window.

"Yeah! Right after I admire you" I winked.
"Dont ever do that again, its cringe" She said and I laughed.

"See you soon!" I shouted.

I guess getting married to Janella may not be bad..but it will be if I catch feelings.

I shook my head.

Your going insane, dont let it get to you, Janella would never like me either way.

Janella's POV

I cant stop picturing Jane in that dress.

She just looked so beautiful.
But if Im being honest Jane was never ugly.

"Shut up!" I told myself.
"God what are you thinking Janella? You cant fall in love..especially not again" I mumbled.

As soon as I got home I took a shower and was currently in my pajama's holding my script and practicing some lines.

*Knock, knock*

"Come in" I said.
"Oh Dad, your home" I said as he entered.

"Yes I came home early today, I was just wondering how things went with you and Jane today? Did you pick the perfect dress?" He asked.

"Mhm, things went well" I said.

I guess.

"Great, because tomorrow you have a photoshoot with Jane" He said.

"Im meeting Jane again?!" I asked and he nodded.
"But Dad! Have you forgotten about my scenes tomorrow?" I asked.

"I told them to move it to another day, this is more important" He said.

More important?!

I love my career.
But there was no time to argue.

I held in my sigh, "Alright then, what time is the photoshoot at?" I asked.

"You should ask your fianceé, she has all the details" He smiled.

"Why cant you just tell me?" I asked.
"You and Jane should communicate, she is your fianceé" He said.

"Dad your taking this too real, its just a contract remember?!" I asked.

"I know that, its not like im encouraging you to actually fall in love with her anak, dont ever do that" He said.

"Why not?" I asked.
"Because its not part of the contract you signed" He replied.

"And what would happen if I didnt follow the rules of the contract?" I asked.

"Janella, dont ask such silly questions, dont tell me you have already fallen in love with Jane" He said seriously.

"No! No way dad, what are you saying.." I said.
"I hope your telling me the truth" He said.

"I am" I responded.

No I was not.
