27: The end

Timeskip to a few months later

Janella's POV

"And cut! That's it for today, thank you everyone" The director shouted.

I just finished filming for an advertisement.
I figured why not film some offers I had since It's been a while since I've been acting.

I was about to head out for lunch with my co workers until I got a call.

I looked at my phone.

It was an unknown number.
I shrugged it off.

Answering it.

"Hello?" I said.
"Janella" The voice replied.

That voice was familiar...Its Jane's dad's voice?.

"Mr. De Leon?" I said.
"Yes it's me calling" He replied.
"What- Why? Why are you calling po?" I asked.

"Do you have time? Gusto kitang makiusap" He said.
"Oh, san po ba?" I asked.

"I'm at the cafe down the road of your studio" He replied. "Sige po, I'll head down there soon" I told him.

I grabbed my purse and informed my friends that I had to go meet up with someone so I couldn't eat lunch with them.

I made my way down the road and to the cafe.
Looking around as soon as I got inside and I spotted Jane's dad.

He waved.

I waved back as I walked up to him.
"Take a seat" He said.

I sat in the empty seat infront of him.
"I know you must be puzzled because why am I calling you" He said.

"I am" I replied.
"It's about Jane" He said.

"I want to apologize" He added.

I stared at him all confused.

"You see Jane hasn't been the same since those 2 months after you went abroad. She really liked you" He said.

"And I want to apologize because I made this mess. I made her break up with you, I deleted all your contacts from her and forced her stay away from you" He explained.

"I spotted you two at that grand party, and after that when Jane came back to the table she grabbed her purse and left, I knew what happened." He said.

"It's all my fault" He added.

I sat there in silence, taking in all he said.

"Dont hate Jane for this Janella, your a great person. The person you should be hating is me" He said.

"Where is Jane now?" I asked.
"She went over to Japan to take a break from everything, she actually gets back today" He said.

"What time?" I asked.

Jane's POV

"We're finally back! Wooho!" Julia said in excitment.
"God I missed the smell of this airport and the food" Julia said as we were making our way to the escalator.

"Parang ilang taon tayo nawala" I chuckled.
"I couldnt say no to your offer! Cant leave my best friend like that" She smiled.

"Salamt talaga for coming with me, I couldnt have made it" I replied. "Anything for my best friend" She said.

We were finally on the escalator.

I thought about her.

Is this how Janella felt?
Is this how she felt when she looked around and didn't see me in the crowd waiting for her?

I bet she felt horrible.

I then got off the escalator.

Looking around.

But I froze once I saw a certain, familiar face.

It was her, she's here. Janella is here.

She smiled, waving over to me.

I held myself back.
Was I dreaming? Being hypnotized? Was I seeing things!?

"You should go up to her" Julia told me as she left my side to go get her luggage.

I looked at her.

She was waiting for me...with open arms.
I ran up to her.

As fast as I could, falling into her arms.
I hugged her tight.

"Your here Janella, your actually here" I said.
"Yes I am" She replied.

I didnt let go of her as I looked at her.
"Why are you here? What happened so suddenly?" I asked.

"Your dad visited me, he explained everything" She said. "I'm sorry Jane, i'm sorry for everything I said that hurt you back then. I was just angry and I wanted you to know how much" She added.

"Dont be sorry, I'm sure you must have felt horrible" I told her.

"I'm sorry I wasn't here with open arms like I promised" I said.

"You didn't break your promise, your still here. With your arms hugging me" She smiled.

"In the end your still here Jane" She added.
"I missed you.." I smiled.

"Want to go out and eat?" She asked me.
"I'd love to" I responded.

Before letting go of her.
I leaned in, kissing her.

She kissed me back.
We broke the kiss staring at each other full of love in our eyes.

"Jane I have a question" She said as we started walking, holding hands with our a care as people stared and whispered since they knew us both.

"Ano yun?" I replied.
"If I had to go to abroad again what would happen?" She asked me.

"I'd buy a plane ticket and follow you" I smiled.
"Talaga?" She asked.
"Dead serious" I laughed.

"Hey, you swear?" She said.
"On my life" I said back.

"So what do you want for lunch?" I asked.
