*Val POV*
Ghastly sighed, hopping up and opening the door. Erskine, Dexter and Saracen all fell on to the floor, in a moaning heap. "Ghastly!!! Why'd you do that?!!" Erskine whines, rubbing his head. Saracen sits up, laughing his ass off, already knowing it was going to happen. "SARACEN!" Dexter yells, punching his friend. "I called them here..." Ghastly adds, sheepishly. "Where's my niece?" Saracen bellows, hopping up. Gabby chuckles, revealing herself. "Uncle Saracen!" She cheers, hugging him. He laughs. "So ghastly wasn't lying when he said you weren't dead?" He asked, grinning." Having fun eavesdropping?!" I snap, glaring at the three men. "Having fun snuggling Skul?!" Dexter retaliates, smirking. I pause, grinning. "Touché, my friend, touché." I mutter. Skul chuckles, but starts coughing half way through. "Excuse me. I have to get changed" he mumbles, struggling to sit up. I help him up, worry lines creasing my forehead. Solemn looks are given around the room, taking in his still weak form. He nudges ghastly on his way out, stumbling up the stairs. Dexter sighs, seriousness returning to the room. "So obviously, you found him" he mumbles, taking a seat next o me. Erskine follows, but Saracen stays standing, staring off into space. "Ahh, val? Be a dear and go calm down Saracen in three... Two... One..." Anton mutters, and on one , Saracen goes pale, shock covering his face. He points at the stairs, stuttering. I get up, taking him to the next room. "H-He's Lord V-Vile!!" He screams, hyperventilating. I cringe, hearing Erskine choke. "Saracen, calm do-" "I CANT CALM DOWN! I JUST FOUND OUT THAT MY BEST FRIEND WAS LORD VILE!" He screeched, covering his face. "Hey! I thought I was your b-.... Wait.... SKULDUGGERYS LORD VILE!!?" Dexter yells, as I hear ghastly and Anton sigh, in the same position as me. This was really frustrating. Suddenty, I feel the energy burning within my skin. "EVERYBODY GET IN HERE NOW!!" I scream, my voice extremely different. I see everyone rush in, stopping in their tracks as they see what is happening. I calm down, confused. "What?" I ask, confused. They just stare. "Y-you were glowing red!" Gabby stutters. I sigh, massaging my forehead. "I don't want to know... Just everybody listen up!" I snap, frustrated. "Yes, skulduggery is lord vile. It's not his fault. So don't blame him. Anyway, everyone needs to calm the fuck down!" I scream, my eyes turning black. "Val! Stop!! " Anton Screams. "VALKYRIE CAIN STOP THIS INSTANT!!" I hear a voice bellow. I immediately calm down, going back to normal. "Hmm?" I mumble, coming out of my daze. "Don't succumb to her!" Skul snaps, walking up to me, the shadows still encasing his body. I nod, crying. I stare at the shocked people infront of me. "I'm sorry. Please, I didn't mean it!" I cry, sobbing into skuls chest. But the room stays silent.

I must confess that I feel like a monster.
