"I-I'm... I'm sorry but I'm afraid--"

"Didn't you tell me not to hurt myself without your permission? I think I might kill myself for real tonight...", Karina then faced down again, releasing Winter's arm from her grip while sobbing slightly.

Winter really didn't want to make this happen, since she was afraid Karina might know about her mission. But at the same time, Winter couldn't let Karina alone on the road in despair either, after what she had gone through just now.

Then, Winter made her decision for the best.

"Fine", Winter said while sighing lightly.

"Really?", Karina lifted her head again, trying to smile a lil bit.

"Only for tonight", Winter said, somehow making Karina feel a bit sad. But what can Karina expect? She and Winter was total stranger. But what does Karina know is that she can trust Winter. Maybe she gonna put all of her trust in Winter, the mysterious girl who keeps conquering Karina's mind lately.

"Alright, I understand...", Karina replied.

Winter enters the apartment first, followed by Karina. Winter then ask Karina to sit on the couch for a moment while Winter was walking away, trying to find something inside her room.

"Where did you wanna go?", Karina was afraid after Winter leave her alone since she was inside a stranger's house. A few seconds later, Winter came back with a white box inside her hand. Then she kneeled right in front of Karina, making Karina startled by her action.

"W-What are you trying-- ouch!", Karina wincing in pain when Winter suddenly put some antiseptic on her knee. That's when Karina realized that her knee was scratched from the road just now.

Winter silently cleaned all the bruises and treated them as clean as she can. From putting some ointment to putting some plaster on the bruises. Now it's all done, Winter stands up without saying a word, taking a few steps away from Karina.

"Hey!", Karina called her in her high voice, making Winter stop for a moment.

"Didn't you want to say anything? I don't even know your full name yet! How dare you to just walk away like that", Karina pouted somehow making Winter sigh weakly. Now the annoying Karina is back.

"Kim Minjeong. Usually, Winter", Winter said and finally walk away. Karina finally knows Winter's name, but at the same time is confused with Winter's weird behavior. Isn't she too cold? Karina thought inside her mind.

A moment later, Winter came back to where Karina was sitting, grabbing her hand all of a sudden making Karina startled. Karina's eyes widen while looking at Winter.

"W-What are you--"

"You really don't know how to shut your mouth, aren't you? I'm bringing you to your room. Did you want to sleep on that couch?", Winter said while looking sternly at Karina. Karina could just gulp because of her nervousness and just followed Winter's step inside a tiny but cozy bedroom.

"Here... you can sleep here. My room was right next to yours and the bathroom was right next to my room. Make sure to go home tomorrow. Have a good night", Winter then coldly walked away from Karina, leaving Karina in confusion at the center of the bedroom.

"What the--- She leaves me just like that? Rude", Karina said in her low tone, soon to realize that her dress right now was messy as hell. She needs to change for sure.

"Okay... I think I need to--"

Suddenly Winter came back with a sweatshirt and training pants, folded in her hands. She then put the clothes on top of the bed and stopped for a while to look at Karina.

"You can wear that for tonight. That's my cloth, I think they will fit you", Winter said before again leaving Karina alone inside the room. Karina is somehow dumbfounded after looking at how Winter acting towards her.

"She's sure one weird girl, isn't she?"

Winter woke up from her deep sleep, slowly scratching her head while yawning as big as she could. She opened her sleepy eyes, looking at the time on her phone screen. So it's 11 am already?

Remembering that last night she had a sudden guest, Winter get up from the bed walking out of her bedroom only to see the room right next to her was empty.

"So she did go home, or not?"

But Winter could smell something from the kitchen. It's not a bad smell, but a delicious smell. Maybe the last time she had this kind of smell inside her house was when Winter was ten before her mother died because of cancer.

Winter walked towards the kitchen only to see Karina plating some food and putting it on the table neatly. So this Karina Yu girl who everyone hates can cook? Winter was surprised.

"Oh, finally you wake up. Here have some", Karina said while holding out a spoon, trying to give it to Winter. But Winter didn't even move a flinch to take it.

"Didn't I say to you to go home in the morning?", Winter ask.

"But, I think I need to repay your kindness. So I'm making this", Karina explained, still holding onto the spoon. Winter saw how struggling Karina was to keep her hands up and couldn't help but take the spoon away from Karina and sit right in front of the food that has been served.

"I'm gonna go home after you eat that", Karina said. As Karina wishes, Winter slowly eats the food. Mixed feelings conquering Winter's heart right now. It's been a while since she taste homecooked food. Also, the taste was so similar to her late mother's cooking. Winter felt like she want to cry, but trying to endure it as hard as she could.

"It's... delicious. Thank you...", Winter said and then took another bite. Karina smiled happily, glad that Winter liked her cooking. As Winter took another bite of her cooking, Karina slowly walks away from Winter who is busy with her food towards the front door, ready to leave the house after Winter eat her cooking.

"Wait! Where did you want to go?", Winter asked, somehow stopped eating for a while.

"Hmm... didn't you just say to me to go home earlier? So, I will go, I guess", Karina smirked in annoyance at Winter but Winter just answered with a short and cold "Ah".

"Wait. I'm gonna send you home"

"Excuse me?"

"I said I'm gonna send you home. Let me finish this first", Winter then ate her food again while Karina still standing in front of the front door in confusion. She keeps thinking what's up with this weird girl named Winter Kim actually?

"Didn't you want me to go home as soon as I can? I can go home by myself!"

"No without my permission"

"And why should I always ask for your permission?"

"Cuz I want to"

"WHAT??"
