The Healthy Baby

-A few month's go by and Damon is out of the hospital and healthy, Damon and Amelia has gotten a new apartment and Damon is able to go back to work, he still remembers what happens so on occasion he goes and seeks help and talks to someone, Amelia is now full term at this point with a healthy baby boy who is ready to be brought into the world-

Kano: -She was outside smoking a cigarette while watching the kid's play outside her baby was inside her apartment sleeping- "I really need to stop this habit before I end up getting sick."

Damon: -He was outside trying to figure out how to work a car seat in the car he had parked out in the parking lot- "Oh come on you damn thing work with me please."

Amelia: "Hey Damon, do you know what your doing, you seem to struggle with that."

Damon: "Oh, I'm fine darling, I will figure this out in a minute I promise."

Kano: "Yeah, he will figure thing's out in about a year, when the baby is a year old."

Damon: "Kano, please leave me alone, I'm trying to do this because Amelia could give birth anytime, she's full term and you know this, her water can break at any moment and we are just trying to prepare for the birth of our son."

Kano: "Whatever Damon, please don't ask me for help since you seem like you got it."

Amelia: -She touches her baby bump and watches her son move around and kick- "Hey it's alright little one you will get to meet mommy and daddy soon I promise, and we will give you a really good like that I never had."

Damon: "There we go it's finally in the car, that was a bit tough but the baby will be sucure when he gets old enough to use it."

Amelia: "Well I'm glad that's done so we don't have to worry about that, oh and Damon can you get our hospital bags ready for the baby just in case."

Damon: "Of course darling, I will make sure we have everything ready for the birth of our son." -He goes inside the apartment and gets the bags ready-

-The children in the apartment complex was still playing outside some was riding around on bicycles and some was playing soccer in the nearby field-

-Other people was outside smoking and some was doing illegal things like selling drugs to get money, this makes Amelia think is her son gonna be safe here or does she need to find a home away from the dump everyone calls home she just wants to make sure her son will be safe from the dangers that is all around her-

Amelia: -She gets up and decides to see how her mother is doing since it has been awhile since she has been home, once she gets to the apartment she reaches for the doorknob as her hands were shaking from how nervous and scared she was-

-Once she opened the door there here mom was on the couch with some man having sex, Amelia quckly looked away, she felt disgusted with herself she should have knocked before entering the apartment-

Janet: -She notices Amelia standing in the doorway- "What the hell are you doing back here, I was busy and you ruined this moment for me!"

Amelia: "Sorry mom....I was just checking on you because I haven't heard from you in awhile."

Janet: "You need to stop worrying about me you whore!" -She looked awful from all the drugs she has done over the months-

Amelia: "I had to do what I had to do.....You was providing me and May with nothing, no food at all and the bills was overdue but did you care, all you cared about was drugs and all the men you brought over just for your enjoyment, not once did you care about your own children...and with me becoming a mom I will do anything for my son and I will never become someone like you."
