0005. MEETING THE FAMILY COMES SOONER THAN EXPECTED

MISAKI TAKAO HELD A CONFUSED FROWN on her lips as her mom gripped tightly at her hand. The two females were sat in the moving car towards a destination that Misaki wasn't informed, nor aware of. She was left in the dark about the entire situation and it was very confusing to her as it was all so sudden. She hadn't left the house outside of her sneak outs, in what seemed like forever. If it wasn't for her hangouts with Toya, she probably wouldn't have left the house in years.
This morning, her mom had woken her up for what may have been the first time in years. Her father was usually the one to force her out of bed even before the sun rose, but not that morning it seemed. She felt more rested than she had in ages making Misaki realize that for the first time in forever, she had also been given the opportunity to sleep in until well after the sun had rose.
Her mom informed her that her father had gone to a meeting earlier that morning, something that he had been doing quite often. Though something that he hadn't, and never had done before, was ask them to join them. Her mother had dressed her up nicely in a little lilac dress that went just below her knees that was paired with some cute white flats before she had guided her to the kitchen for a quick breakfast, which was just a smoothie as neither had much time to eat as Hana had chosen to prioritize on letting Misaki try to sleep in as she prepared a small breakfast for them as Kito kept a strict eye on Misaki's diet. After the quick breakfast, she guided her out to the car and then they were off.
