Dyl's POV:

It was pouring in the paddock. I ran in the garage feeling the warmth of it. I shivered as I hugged myself trying to warm myself up, I'd forgotten my jacket.

"Nice outfit." I heard a voice and turned around seeing Max looking at me with an amused expression. "Didn't you check the weather?" He asked amused.

"Clearly I didn't." I replied raising my eyebrows and he chuckled softly.

"Wait here." He told me before walking off quickly. I followed him with my eyes as he disappeared turning left at the end of the hall.

I took a deep breath and rocked back and forth trying to warm myself up. After a short while O saw Max walking back towards me with a jacket hanging on his arm.

"Here." He put it over my shoulders and I grabbed onto the jacket.

"Being cold is a mental thing I..." I started saying trying to take off the jacket, trying not to blush.

"Don't start with the cold being a mental thing." He cut me off holding the jacket firmly on my shoulders.

I chuckled softly and slipped my arms in the jacket, finally accepting it.

"Thank you." I smiled and he smiled back. "So, you're starting 20." I told him and he chuckled.

"Don't sound too excited." He joked and I laughed. "You're starting second." He raised his eyebrows.

"Hey, I got Lando in front of me. He was super excited about his pole yesterday. He kept insisting we should go partying." I spoke smiling and Max chuckled.

"Good luck." He told me and I pursed my lips in a smile.

"Good luck to you. You'll need it." I nudged him slightly with my hands in the pockets of his jacket and he smiled.

"Dylan, Max! They need you here." We heard a voice and turned around seeing Christian. "You can wish good luck to each other later." He spoke and we chuckled.

Narrator's POV:

"And it's lights out and away we go!" Crofty announced as the red lights turned off. "Lando Norris does get away very well from Dylan González, Daniel Ricciardo too and Norris now leads González who is ahead of George Russell and Carlos Sainz. Ricciardo coming up alongside and Sainz is getting a good slipstream."

The cars got into the first turn. Dylan battling to keep her position from Sainz.

"Hamilton trying to go down the inside. Into the first braking zone we go! Carlos Sainz locks up, going straight on, it's Fernando Alonso. It's Sainz in the lead from Lando Norris, then comes Dylan González and George Russell."

Dylan's radio popped up.

"Okay Dylan. We're going with scenario 3. Scenario 3." Her radio engineer informed her.

"Copy. Let's do this." She replied with a confident tone.

By lap 13 Lando has regained the lead from Carlos. Dylan also saw this opportunity and made an overtake on Sainz, regaining her second place.

By lap 47 it had started to rain. The track was wet and there was not much grip.

"The rain is increasing out there on the track." Crofty informed to the viewers.

Lando had been struggling, going in wide in some turns which just made Dylan close up to him even more, reducing the gap.

"Dylan, box box. We're boxing for inters." Her radio engineer told her in lap 49.
