Away

And as I wait for you at the meadow by the sea, watching the silent waves hit the sea,
my mind reverberate through the thoughts of the nights we spent here watching them.
When will you return, oh my love?
For I am exhausted from the pain of being away from you so long.
Will you be there to hold my hands, at the horizon where the sky meets the ocean?
Or will you be gone before I could reach you?
Should I be worried, of the thoughts that now creeps my mind? Or will you be there to soothe them out?
The wind blows now, but ever so lightly that it seems as if it's embracing the seas and the flowers.
It brings with it the smell of the sea, of the musk hint that reminds me of you.
When will you return my dear love?
For I am drained from the pain of being away from you so long.
