After the explosion went off, and everyone was not consumed by a firey blast, they lifted their heads and looked around confused. Surrounding them was a glowing yellow shield that blocked out the fire, smoke, and debris. Behind them was Mia with her hands together like she was praying and her green eyes now glowing white.

"What the hell?" Yoko mumbled.

The yellow shield expanded outward forcefully, throwing the debris off of it and creating a strong gust of wind around the area that put out the fires and blew the smoke away. The group stood in a crater that was untouched by the explosion. Mia's eyes stopped glowing and her arms fell back to her side as she stumbled forward exhausted.

Rosa and Lonnie caught her since they were the closest to her. "Are you okay?" Lonnie asked.

Mia nodded as she caught her breath, leaning most of her body weight on the two vampires. "Yeah, I'm good."

"Someone wanna explain how the normie just saved all of us from dying?" Ajax asked.

"Ya know, I'm starting to think she's not a normie," Kent crossed his arms.

"What kind of outcast are you?" Wednesday asked.

Mia shook her head. "Not an outcast. Not technically."

"Well, you can't be a normie," Yoko said. "They don't do whatever it is you just did."

"Yeah, but I'm closer to a normie now than I am an outcast." Mia took a deep breath since she was still trying to catch hers. "Think we can sit down? That took way more than I was expecting."

"After we leave," Wednesday compromised. "Thanks to that explosion cops will be here soon. We don't wanna be here when they arrive."

That was something they could all agree on. They climbed their way over of the rumble since they had been underground and needed to get back up to ground level. Rosa and Lonnie were practically carrying Mia and passing her back and forth so the other could climb. Once back on ground level they could take in the destruction.

The entire mansion was demolished, nothing but burnt rubble. Even the yard hadn't escaped the destruction, and any siren that Wednesday didn't kill was definitely dead now. They heard the sirens in the distance and headed into the forest. They could use it to travel far enough down the road without being seen, and then they could call an Uber.

Once far enough away, they all sat down in a circle on the forest floor. Rosa and Lonnie helped Mia sit down in between them. The Ubers would take twenty minutes to get to them, so they had time to talk and figure out their next move.

"Alright, explain," Wednesday demanded.

Mia took a deep breath. "I'm an angel. Or rather, I used to be."

"Angels are real?!" Kent exclaimed. "No way!"

Mia raised an eyebrow. "You live in a world of werewolves, vampires, and more, but angels existing is where you draw the line?"

"Shouldn't you be in heaven then or something?" Divina asked.

"I should be. But I'm not an angel anymore. Or did you miss that part?"

"Why are you not angel anymore?" Enid asked.

"There are two rules angels have to follow. One," Mia held up a finger, "we don't intervene with human affairs. We're here to guide not to help. And two," she added another finger, "we can't fall in love with humans. I broke that rule when I fell in love with Phe. Me and my parents were banished to earth and removed of our angel status."

"Why your parents?"

"I'm not an adult, so they have to take responsibility for whatever I do. I went up to Phe that day at school because I could feel her loneliness. Like I said before, I really didn't understand why she had no friends and angels are allowed to make friends so I figured why not." Mia shrugged before chuckling. "I hadn't expected to fall in love with her though."
