Choose your colors.You want colors similar to each other.If you have a swatch card use that.If not swatch the colors you plan to use.

Start wit your lightest colors.

Choose a color a bit darker than the first colours.Use that for the scales.

Next use a blueish or greenish tinted color for the top scales.

Color the eyes your favorite color.For the inside of the ears use a pink.For the spikes use black.

Draw a tiny circle in the eye and dots going down the scales.If you want draw sots on the top of the head.You can also add jewellery.
