Normal p.o.v

Astrid looked up only to see Hiccups forest green eyes as Hiccup couldnt stop starring back at her as they couldnt help as Astrid got a but closer and so did Hiccup till their lips finally met as Astrid rose her hand and cupped Hiccups cheek to pull him closer for a deeper kiss as Hiccups body was soar as he leaned back to lay down as Astrid moved her body on top of Hiccup without disconnecting their lips

As they both were getting really into it as Astrid gently moved down and began leaving small hickeys on Hiccups neck and shoulder as Hiccup wrapped his arm around Astrids back "Wait Astrid" Hiccup said as he came to his senses as Astrid stopped and backed up "Oh Gods Hiccup I'm sorry I had no idea what came over me" Astrid said as she went to the other end of the couch and hugged her knees "no dont worry about that Its just that maybe we were heading a bit too quick." Hiccup said as he knew he cant be in a relationship in order to keep his loved ones safe

"Yeah your right but I really did enjoy that kiss" Astrid said as she moved her hair to the side as she was hiding a Big blush on her face "yeah me too but this changes things Hofferson" Hiccup said got up and looked out the window and saw some heavy rain storm coming their way even tho it was just early in the morning

"What do you mean" Astrid said as she wrapped her arms around her waist and looked at Hiccup from behind "it means that you cant...I cant" Hiccup said as he cant move the blame on Astrid as Astrid knew what he meant "Hiccup I know what you mean but I can protect myself" Astrid said hoping that it could work out for both of them as Hiccup took a deep breath "you sure I know from what the future is waiting for us" Hiccup said as he turned around and grabbed Astrids hands and puts them together

"Itll be long nights, I'll always come home bruse and beat up and I'll bearly be able to spend time with you because I have to keep up with my Fathers Company's" Hiccup said as he was worried that was too much and Astrid would end up leaving him but atleast he knows that hes secret will be kept safe but instead he felt a gentle palm on his cheek one he hasnt felt for a very, very long time one palm so soft it felt like hes mother was touching his face but he opened his eyes and saw Astrid there "and I'll be with you to heal those wounds, to feed you when your hungry and I'll wait for you on those long nights to heal you to see if your okay and those nights when your back I'll still heal you" Astrid said reassuring Hiccup that she'll be there for him always

As Hiccup couldnt help but feel a type of warmth one he hasnt felt in so long as Astrid digged her face on Hiccups chest and snuggled up close to him as Hiccup for once in his long adulthood he actually made a smile not a fake one but a genuine smile one he can be happy about as he wrapped his arms around Astrid as a drop of rain hit their window

"Looks like it's about to rain Berkians intend not to work on Rainy days " Astrid said as Hiccup smiled at that "how about some sleep one long night can easily put a weight on your shoulders" Hiccup said as Astrid seperated from the hug as she pulled his hands onto the couch "how about here on the couch you dont mind do you" Astrid said as Hiccup smiled as Astrid slept on the couch as Hiccup placed his hand down so Astrid could use it as a pillow as Hiccup wrapped one of his hands around Astrids waist pulling her closer and leaving a kiss on her forehead as they just slept there

4 hours later

Hiccup heard a knock at the door as that woke him up as he looked up and saw that it was still cloudy outside but the rain stopped as Hiccup activated his Silver eyes and looked at a skinny figure standing outside of his door as Hiccup looked down and saw Astrid was at the same position when he fell asleep as he gently took his hand out and walked to the door as he gently opened it to see Johann "hmm Johann nice of you to pay a visit" Hiccup said as he scratched the back of his head as "hmm Master Hiccup I was getting worried when you didnt show up at the ship" Johann said as he looked at Hiccups body and could easily tell Hiccup tried to hide the bandages under the shirt
