As Gustav went to take a small bath Hiccup went back to his room to see Astrid looking out the window "so who was at the door" Astrid said as Hiccup propably didnt want to start up the conversation "it was kid says hes a big fan of mine and by me he means Hiccup Haddock" Hiccup said as he placed hes hands in his pockets "did you wave him off" Astrid said as Hiccup let out a sight "No I may have invited him inside" Hiccup said as Astrid turned her body to look at him properly "Hiccup you invited a stranger and hes taking a bath in your house" Astrid said as she got close to him
"Hes 16 Astrid" Hiccup said as Astrids eyes widened "that makes it worse" Astrid said as Hiccup rolled hes eyes "hes an Orphaned Astrid like me" Hiccup said as Astrid stayed quiet and stepped back a bit "he sneaked onto a ship getting here all he wanted was just see me look I'll just give him some food and buy him new clothes and I'll send him back to Berk" Hiccup said as he took his hands out of his pockets "alright" Astrid said as she placed her hand on her chin as Hiccup figured that she must be thinking of something
"Babe what are you thinking" Hiccup said as he got behind her as Astrid turned around but accidently bumped on Hiccup as Hiccup held her arms making sure she didnt fell "sorry I was just thinking since hes an Orphan and technically I'm from Berk if you can go to Berk maybe you can adopt him" Astrid said as Hiccups eyes widened at that just adoption "Astrid I can't I already have too much responsibilities taking care of a Kid like Gustav I just cant" Hiccup said as Astrid tried to let go from Hiccups grip "mind letting me go" Astrid said as Hiccup realised he tightened hes grip "sorry" Hiccup said as he let's go of Astrid
"Hiccup I know how it sounds but it wouldnt hurt having someone watching your back while your on patrols" Astrid said as Hiccup turned around and rubbed hes eyes "Babe I cant hes too young for training" Hiccup said as Astrid sat on the bed "and how old were you when you trained" Astrid said as Hiccup lowered hes head since he cant beat her in an argument "I still dont want too" Hiccup said as Astrid began thinking of something to persuade him "so what will it take to convince you to take in a Sidekick" Astrid said as she walked towards Hiccup and wrapped her arms around Hiccups neck
As Hiccup just grabbed her by the waist and gently pushed her back "I'm not bringing in a kid into a line of fire and that's that" Hiccup said as he walked to the door as Astrid was surprised as that was the first Hiccup refused her offer as she began walking behind him as she stood infront of him "okay snap it Hiccup what's up with you" Astrid said as she crossed her hands as Hiccup let out a sight
"Its just that the boy remind me of me I dont want to risk anyone being raised by thugs or thieves but I dont want to take him in because if he gets killed while under my care I'll have blood on my hands" Hiccup said as Astrid let out a sight and looked down "Hiccup I have to worry every night wondering if your gonna come back alive and I cant get enough sleep because I care about you" Astrid said as she grabbed Hiccups hands and rubbed his brused knuckles
"If you have someone atleast I can be sure you are well I cant imagine a life without you" Astrid said as she touched the tip of her forehead on Hiccups chest as Hiccup let out a sight "alright fine but when we go to Berk right now I invited him to some leftovers of food" Hiccup said as Astrid smiled and looked uo at him "thanks Hiccup really" Astrid said as Hiccup wrapped his arms around her back
"Can we still have sex" Hiccup whispered at her ear "later when your free" Astrid said as Hiccup nodded as they began walking to the kitchen
